Help With Dinah & Phil Sticker (Quest)

Hi! My son (4yo) and I have been playing this game. Very fun! Well, we got to the part where Dinah wants blocks. My son gave her three of them (I think there's 5, right?) and now he has the other two to give her, but Phil died before he could talk to her again and now she has been grieving for a number of days and won't talk to us to accept the blocks. Has this happened to anyone else? He's quite distressed we can't give the blocks to her and keeps asking me what we can do! LOL Do I just need to wait or is the quest broken and we won't be able to finish it? *bites nails*

Not sure if this will work but if you planted the legendary flower when you went back in time and then in the present or future from there get the nectar from the flower and use it on him not 100% sure though
P.S. How do you talk to dinah all she says is medicine medicine how did you get that quest I already defeated the queen spydroid if that matters.
