Ok when you go into that room talk to the chef then go over to the stove and press the A button. There should be a cut scene and Guillo should blow a hole in the floor. Once in the room right below the kitchen, go through the door to that room. Now go to the first room on the left of the main stair case. There should be a vine that you can climb to the room next door. When in this room there should be some guards and you know that means BATTLE! But a very easy one. Then go to the crate in this room and look in side. You should now have the smoke in a bottle type thing. Then go back out of that room the same way you came in. Now take it down the main stair case and to the left where the save point is. Go over to the grate in this room and press A. The smoke will be in place, save and go back upstairs and you should be able to get by.
