Nookway and Island

OK I have 2 questions 1)I only have one memory card can I still get Nookway and if so how much money do I have to spend? 2)I have animal crossing for gamecube but I'm playing it on my wii can I still get to the island and if so can sombody please tell me what to do?

Yes, 50,000 bells (combination of buying and selling); yes, it should be the same, you have to connect a gamboy advance to the wii
