I'm stuck because I've now got the lobster transport thing and in on the 2nd part of the 1st island (after 2nd island) and it says go into the cave but I just keep getting lost.
Also it says I'm not very competitive to enter the new tournaments with the dark judgeman who is at the counter. Can anyone help me please.

The same thing happened to me. There is a short scene that must occur in order for the tournament to open up. First, make sure you've gone through every island and cave your supposed to. Then, try traveling from the previous town to the town were the tournament is supposed to be held (the one that says your not competitive enough.) when you get close to the town the scene should come up and open up the tournament.
