Go to the University at the correct time. There is a board on the wall in front of the professor with times for four different classes.
I heard that if you bought the workbench from the flea market in SimQuarter, it will help gain your mechanical, but the best way to go is to go to the university, but both are just as slow, sorta, I think that the workbench is a bit slower. But still. :D
I think university is the best way
I have to the same problem only, the calibration on my DS is waaaay off. So, I can not use the univerity at all. I think the bench work option is faster. (I think :/) Hope this helps.
