Hi,i just got back from the bayou and now theres this "no running" law. How do I fix it so we can run again?

You have to go to the university and go to the guy who is always asleep and talk to him. He says he will be the person to take the letter to paradise island but he needs a map. Go to old saltys boat and go all the way to the top and climb the ladder. Get it and leave. Note to never pick it up again it always has one there. If you do you will lose a space in your pockets. Go back to gordie the guy and give him the map. I forget what the other goal is but you have to talk to detective dan before doing this and you should have a list of goals. Hope this helps.
You have to finish a goal and then you'll be able to run again. Go to D.Det mann after you finish the goal and then you'll be able to run again. Hope this helps!
Hi! I just have a question, why is it when I go to oldy salty's boat it only says there "ADMIRE" so how will I get the map? I've been stranded at this mission for about a week now.... Pls help me..... Thnks.....
You have to go to jail first just run on purpose and then you will end up in jail.Talk to Gramma Hattie and see will tell you about what see wants you to do,then pay the fines and then go to the University and talk to that boy that is asleep and then he will take the letter to paridise island and the map is in salty's boat.
There are 3 steps to this mission:
1.Find someone to write the letter.
2.Find a Messenger to Paradise Island
3.Gain Popularity 40
4.Find a Map to Paradise Island
5.Bring the Map back to Gordie
1.When you come back from the bayou, you probably will run and then you will go to jail. At jail Gramma Hattie will be there, but ignore her for now because you didn't start the mission yet.
Find Detective Dan D. Man and he will start the mission. Now, go BACK to jail (by running) and talk to Gramma Hattie, and she will be the one who writes the letter.
2.Go to the University and talk to the sleeping boy in the chair. He is the messenger to Paradise Island. Gordie Puck will tell you (if hadn't yet) to get more popular. If your popularity is already above 40, then go to step 4.
3.Gaining popularity is not too hard, first of all, to see your popularity, go to the stats and friends screen and look at the top of the screen. Your popularity is listed there. To gain popularity, talk to people and get their relationship to 50 at least. Do this until you get 40% popularity.
4.The map to Paradise Island is at the very top of Olde Salty's Riverboat. At the lounge go up the stairs until you reach the Captain's Quarters. Climb up the Ladder and get the map at the top.
5.Finally, all you do next is give the map back to Gordie and you gain access to the Motorboat and running again!
