Decorating The Stage

Im on Mission 4-5 and one of my goals is to "Decorate the stage" I've done everything but this and attend the play, but how do I decorate?? I've gone to the stage and pressed A but nothing happened, can somebody help? Thanks in advance!!

You have to buy things from the store and place it down by going to your pockets and select it. Hope this helps.

Im on the same goal ;) I know we are supposed to put items on the stage and then we finished that part. I tried that, but it didn't work for me. Hope it works for ya!

Use cheap stuff because you won't get it back. You can put up to 4 posters etc. On the screen itself. If you paint your own, they're free. For free-standing objects, put them off to the side of the stage and make sure they're fairly small. Maybe some of those seasonal gifts you get in the mail periodically.
