Question for The Sims 2: Pets

Please help, I think I am stuck. I have won the Clubs competition with a gold metal. I made food for Celina and bought Ms. Elegant the bird and gave it to her. I did not however duel her again (but I may have, I do not remember). I have talked to Raphael and he said I have to win the Hearts competition before anything else. I can not however find the Hearts competition. I have looked under Jane and Otis. Can someone please tell me where to go? I have also tried to wait for Amy at the park to play chess with her, but she does not show. I do not know where I went wrong, except maybe talking to Raphael before dueling Celina. Please advise... I have read the walkthrough, but I am still lost. Also, my medals cabinet did not turn silver at this point??? Have I done something wrong? Thank you!!!

You have to compete in the clubs competition. If Jade thinks you are getting better she will promote you to the hearts competition
