Does anyone have any tips for fast shell collecting?

In Hyrule town there is a man that sells picolite that can help you collect them faster,if you are that far in the game.

Hey,

Heres my tip to collect shells.Enter link house and go back outside, don't take a step just turn yourself to your left and use the mole mitts to dig up a red ruby.

Repeat the processe untill you have 999 ruby. Then go back to Hyrule Town and buy 30 shells from the shop for 200 ruby since you had 999rubys you can buy even more. Then go back to links house and repeat the process.

Thats how I got the Galov meddal by getting all the statues. You need to be very patient but it's the best way (for me) to get shells.

Okay, this is how I got all 136 figurines...
First, you need the mole mitts. Then, dig to the left of the door of links house. There will be a red rupee. Go in and out and repeat this process until you have 999 rupees or the desired amount that you want.then go to the store and buy mysterious shells until you run out of rupees. Then go and get figurines until you're out of shells. when your done with this, keep on doing all of the above over and over again until you have all figurines

This might take a while, but if you're patient enough, this will be very helpful....
