You got to get the jabber nut first the guy far north fo the village the shrine with blue diamand shaped roof tops.
He will tell you to go to a berral house east of the town, go in there eat the jabber nut go back talk to the guy... he will tell you to visit the village elder north-west of town.
He will grant you permission to go to the deepwood shrine, go back to the shrine with the guy (the house with the blue shaped diamands on it).
He will let you go through the doorway behind him and you will be able to enter the dungeon.
