If I can rememeber right this is the cane that makes you invincible. You have to have the cape. Go to the Dark World where you went for the very first time and turned into a bunny, there is a ledge if you go down below the circle of bushes. You'll end up on a ledge with a cave, go inside. Use the hammer to knock all three little things down. Be sure to have magic potion because you can seriously get hurt here.

You use the cape to walk across the spikes. Pick up the big rock and get on solid ground because your magic will probably be going low by now. It's inside of the chest there. It's a good idea to have the 1/2 magic meter.
