Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team Questions

Do you have to select (use) on the music box to attact Mew or do you just keep it a held item?........and I beat deoxiys and he did now offer to join my team why do you need a freind bow...last where do you get a freind bow?

1) Music Box: You have to keep it in your box, your leader should hold a X-Ray Specs to track all the Pokemon on the floor. Keep an eye on the message box. You may find something like 'Mew used Tranform', it's a sign Mew appear on the floor. Hunt down all Pokemon that you see from start (this is the reason why I told you to hold the X-Ray Specs) as Mew only appear from the starting of that floor and won't be generated (won't spawn). If you got a chance, you should enter a monster house. It can be generated there.
2) Deoxys: You are lucky (some people try lots of time but it still refuse to join), and you must at least Lv60 if you recruit it without Friend Bow. People use Friend Bow to increase the chance of recruiting, or if you are below Lv60 and you still want to recruit the Pokemon then Friend Bow give you a chance.
3) Friend Bow: You can get one at 30F of Mt.Faraway, which appear after you do the series of dungeon that involve in finding the mirage Pokemon for Spinda. You'll need a key (there are 3 dungeon that have keys but I suggest you to go to Solar Cave). There is an alternate way to get it, you can buy it from Kecleon Stall at Joyous Tower for 5000 Poke.
