Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

Hey all you guys owt thea (or gals). Um I hav to questions and I will b greatful if you can answer them.
1. How do you type in passwords? I know you go 2 the wonder mail and select passwords. But there are 30 white slots and 24yellow slots. Thats 54. All the codes have 24 so how do you make it so the yellow ones count. Or how do you do it?

2. How do you get that item that makes you able to get friends easy. I cannot get groudon...

1) go to the main menu when you first turn on your game and select 'Friend Rescue' then select 'Go Rescue' then it'll let you put in the password.

2) That item is called the Friend Bow, to get it get a key and go to the 30th floor of Mt. Faraway. If you want to recruit Groudon, make sure your leader Pokemon is holding the Friend Bow. Just to tell you, it will take you a few tries to recruit Groudon even if you have the Friend Bow.
