Silver Trench is 98 floors of walking and battling, then on level 99 you fight Lugia. Don't worry about the battle, his/her strongest attack is Gust.
The silver trench is 99 long floors. I would bring a lot of huge apples, throwing items and reviver seeds. An escape orb wouldnt hurt either.

Silver Trench is 99 floors, and instead of packing your toolbox wtih huge apples, just bring a Tight Belt. It prevents your belly from going down AT ALL!! To get it, use WonderMail cheats. Now I have two of them!
