Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

This is an issue I'm having with Pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team..
I have a lot of Pokemon recruited, but when I go to the friend areas they should be at, they aren't there.
There are only a few Pokemon I've recruited in the past, and when I hit Info it says that all these Pokemon are there, but I never see them..
Only the ones listed as "Friend" and are light blue are there.
Why is this?

You can get them only in your team if they get alive from the dungeon.
If they faint in the dungeon before leaving the dungeon they arent anymore in your team
