What rank do you have to be at to recruit zapdos I tried every single rank so far and I'm at diamond rank?

Ok, First of all, make sure you haven't exceeded the maximum character limit. If you go in with 4 people and try and recruit Zapdos, the chances of recruiting him will be none. Secondly, make sure you haven't exceeded the maximum character size. If you go in with articuno or Moltres and try and recruit Zapdos it will be impossible. You must make sure you only enter with a combined total of 2 Stars character size.

Besides rank, level also helps so a higher level Pokemon has a higher chance of recruiting a Pokemon such as Zapdos.

As well as that, if you have the item friend bow, equiping it to the leader greatly increases your chance of recruiting Zapdos.

Finally, make sure you have completed story mode as it is impossible to recruit it before beating sotry mode.

Umm well it depends if you are in the post game.also it took me 4 tries to get him and I was rank gold

The ranks go higher I'm at lucareo rank, but I got him on gold rank. You have a better chance of recurting him you're your original Pokemon and you're alone

I got him at bronze rank on my first try.
