Recruit Kyogre

I have defeated Kyogre a dozen times, and still he hasnt joined.
<BR>Is there some special trick to it??
<BR>Do I need to recruit Grodon first or is that next, or maybe later???
<BR>
<BR>I heard that a friend bow (I think that's what it's called) helps, but I don't know where to find one.

ANSWERS

1) Did you make the final blow? If not, you are screwed.
2) Did you kill him from afar? If yes, you are screwed.
3) Did your team size bigger than 2 (check the last page of the Pokemon's detail)? If yes, then you are screwed. People tend to try to recruit a Moltres with a Zapdos without noticing the total body size of the team and the one you want to recruit is way bigger than 6.
4) Do you bring 4 Pokemon? If yes, leave 2 home.
You have to beat Rayquaza before recruit Groudon.
Friend Bow can be found at 30F Mt.Faraway, Keyed Chamber (this mean you need a Key from Solar Cave, Desert Region or Western Cave to unlock)

Theres a cheat that you will have all item on your storage but if you attack kyogre far away your screwed this is the cheat

Make sure you have you're friend bow and kill him wd you're Pokemon hos level is 100 after you beat him he will join u

I just fought him the first time and he joined maybe you just have bad luck

Yeah, same. I'm level 42 and have a friend bow, did it NONSTOP. Team size is only 1. Heres some advice.

Kyorge recruit rate: 50%
With friend bow : 60%
With level 99: 84%
