How do you get to the platforms that are floating without anything connecting to them? Plus I need chips, protoman's soul unison, and a way to beat either shademan or laser man easily and to get the GMD.

1.There is always an invisible path.(You don't need any special item to cross it.)It's easier to beat Laserman with the GMD still there.
