I've tried loads of times and can't beat cackletta at Hoo Unniversity place. My mario and luigi are lvl 15... Sometimes they get killed right after Cacklettas first attck.. So I need some mushrooms or something to regain health is there any store I can go to buy mushrooms?

Sorry to Bogus your above awnser, but he or she hasn't made it to little fungitown.
From the manual:
As your showdown with cackletta begins be prepared to jump over black holes if one of the brothers falls in he'll be temporarily slowed cackletta's primary means of attack is a pair of lightningbolts.
She fires in quick succesion you can tell who she's going to strke first by which hand she raises right for mario left for luigi the witch can also create two fakes if you attack the real cackletta the fakes will disappear.
If you hit a fake it will dissolve into poisonous bats that you'll have to jumpover cackletta will start using black holes when you get close to beating her use bros attacks mode 2or3 to finish her off as soon as possible !
To beat her, you should raise them to level 30-40.
My Mario and luigi have around 110 hp and their attacks do 40-50 damage. And also, you wont have to worry about not losing the boss battles after.
Also, try to stock up on mushrooms and such.
