Question for Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town

I've been doing just fine with this game, but for some reason I have missed the Event where Won offers the Vase....Is there something I need to do to trigger this event? I've given him gold every day, and I am able to sell things to him- I can even do the apple challenge as well- but I didn't buy the vase to get it. Strange huh?? Any ideas?

He's just supposed to show up at your house like when he's selling apples so what year are you in?

I'm in my first year..... The beginning of winter. I had to start my game completely over because of curious children in my house.. Sheesh.
I've seen Won at my door twice selling apples, but never for the vase. I just thought it was really strange- especially since I can sell stuff to him, and play the apple challenge.

Well- I've figured it out..... Won came back to the house in winter and I was able to buy the vase. I knew I had to buy it to marry him, but decided to marry Cliff instead.

You have to earn 5000G then he'll come and offer you the vase
