You can either use pieces of wood that you get from the store bin next to the horse's barn that will eventually break and the only way to get rid of is by breaking it with your hammer. The other way is to use stones or branches from typhoons or blizards or just leftovers from clearing the farm for the first time. Personally I use stones..dont break and they look neater that peices of broken fence but they all do just fine
