Do you mean to find Patty?
If you don't then you don't need to, you have to go to Gate.
Although if that is what you mean, you should either use Grandpa (the whale, do you have him??) or if you have Bleu use her "Warp" spell. If you don't have her, you may be able to find her still: go to Home town and into the magic school where you found Nina. Go upstairs and into the room on the left, if you talk to the girl at the back on the left she will tell you that she is in fact Bleu in disguise, she will then join your party and you can use her spell.
(I don't know if you can sitll get her, but it's worth a try!!)
