you will have to type it on cheats that's on the top and click cheat list click gameshark on the bottom then insert the code and enter the description like if you want torchic type torchic's code then in the description

all you need to do is complete the national pokedex and prof. birch will give one extra starter pokemon. No cheats are needed. Thats what I did. I dont think it will work if you use cheats. You also get to choose the starter.

first there is a option on top called cheats then select cheatlist there is a option called code breaker and another called game shark select one ,type anything you want in the description then copy the code ,press okay ,thats how it works!!!!
