Merlinus Chapter 13x: Protect him for 7 turns
Erk Chapter 14: Talk to him with Serra or Priscilla
Priscilla Chapter 14: Visit the southwest village
Merlinus Chapter E16/H17:If you did not recruit him on chapter 13x, then he will join automatically
Raven Chapter E16/H17: Talk to him with Priscilla
Lucius Chapter E16/H17: Talk to him with Raven
Canas Chapter E16x/H17x: Visit the village
Dart Chapter E18x/H19x: Joins automatically if you did not kill him on Chapter E18x/H19x
Fiora Chapter E18/H19: Talk to her with Florina
Legault Chapter E19/H20: Talk to him with Lyn, Hector, Eliwood
Heath Chapter E21/H22: Talk to him with Lyn, Hector, Eliwood, or Ninian
Rath Chapter E21/H22: Talk to him with Lyn
Hawkeye Chapter E22/H23: Talk to him with Eliwood if you're doing Eliwood's mode or Hector if you're doing Hector's mode
Geitz Chapter E23/H24: If Lyn's, Hector's and Eliwood's level is combined to 50 or higher, then he will appear. Talk to him with Dart
Wallace Chapter E23/H24: If Lyn's, Hector's, and Eliwood's level is combined to 49 or lower, then he will appear. Talk to him with Lyn, Kent, Sain, Will, or Florina
Farina Chapter H25: Pay her 20,000 gold on Turn 5. Hector Mode only.
Karel Chapter E25/H27: If you got Keneth's Map: Kill 4 or more promoted units and talk with your main lord or Lyn. If you got Jerme's Map: Open 5 or more doors before turn 9 talk with your main lord or Lyn
Harken Chapter E25/H27: If you got Keneth's Map: Kill 3 or less promoted units and talk with Eliwood, Hector, Marcus, Lowin, Oswin, or Isadora. If you got Jerme's Map: Open 4 or less doors before turn 9 and talk with Eliwood, Hector, Marcus, Lowin, Oswin, or Isadora
Nino Chapter E26/H28: If you're doing Eliwood's mode, then talk to her with Eliwood or Lyn. If you're doing Hector's mode, then talk to her with Hector or Lyn
Jaffar Chapter E26x/H28x: Have Nino talk to him in Chapter E26/H28, keep Jaffar alive, and accept the sidequest and he'll join at the beginning of the chapter
Vaida Chapter E27/H29: If you do not kill her in Chapter E24/H26 and are doing Eliwood's mode, then talk to her with Eliwood. If you do not kill her in Chapter E24/H26 and are doing Hector's mode, then talk to her with Hector
Karla Chapter H31x: Bartre must be a level 5 Warrior, talk to her with Bartre, and they both have to survive when they fight each other. Hector mode only.
Renault Chapter E30/H32: Visit the northwest village
