I need help on getting articuno!

<BR>I know how to get to him but I can not get him to sleep with sleeping powder, it just says it did not work and I used my master ball on zapdos.

Try getting a ghost type pokemon ( Ghastly, Haunter, or Gengar) and use hypnosis. That should work.

Or try to paralyze Articuno with Stun Spore, Glare, or Body Slam. Or freeze it with an Ice Beam.

Any of these attacks have proven effective for me and should be effective for you too.

First, you shouldn't have use your master ball on zapdos, because now you cant get mewtwo, but to get articuno you need a fire pokemon and ultra balla.

If you dont have fire get drowzee and use his hypnosis, the throw your ultra balls and catch him.

P.S. save it before fighting him, beacuse you might knock him out.

You shouldn't have used that ball. You can get a mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave if you beat the Elite four and your enemy. But try to paralyze, or poison him, then weaken him down. Also, you can get a moltres, but now you can't get that Mewtwo! So, do that and see what kicks out of that

To capture a Articuno you must put it to sleep, par, or psn.

You aren't the only one eho used a Master Ball on Zapdos I did too and I still caught my level 70 Mewtwo with ease.

Don't worry you can still capture Mewtwo and while facing Articuno try to weaken it to the littlest health it has once you are past half its health.

Use weak attacks like swift or scratch, to weaken it lower and then put it to sleep or whatever.

Catch a Drowzee next to the Diglets cave in the grass and it will know hypnosis.

I had so much trouble catching Zapdos, so I used my master ball too. But when I got to Moltres and Articuno, I caught it with a Pokeball without a status problem or anything, that shows how lucky I am.

Catch Tangela raise it to level 53 or more use sleep powder, spore, etc. use an ultra ball but when the ball opens to capture the Pokemon hold the UP button and A it should work.
