Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition Questions

You can't find Missingno in Yellow Version.

The glitch only works on Blue and Red Versions.

Trust me, I even tried it myself.

No, it does not work. Most cheats on Red and Blue don't work on Yellow, and Your question is one of them.

You can, however, duplicate pokemon, in which you need a game link cable and another gameboy.

Trade a bad pokemon and a good pokemon. The one recieving the bad pokemon turns off their gameboy off first, right after the other person recieves the bad pokemon.

The other person turns theirs off after trade completed apprears. Then, have the other person trade you the good pokemon.

Doing this incorrectly could corrupt your game.

Well who ever you are sad to say I've tried it loads of times on yellow Pikachu edition.

So I think it doesn't work at all but I do know it works on red and blue, so infinite items on works on blue and red

If you want to do this,then listen up.
This is the only OFFICIAL way to get Missingno.

Missingno can learn Fly and Surf. When you get him, he will be at level 7. Here is how to catch him in easy steps.

1. Start a new game if nessesary.

2. Make absolutely sure that you do NOT battle the girl on Route 15 with a Tangela. She is the last trainer you would fight if you fought every trainer on that route from East to West.

3. Make absolutely sure that you do NOT battle the Gambler with his head facing NORTH on the road between Saffron City and Lavender Town.

4. Get the HM Fly.

5. Fly to Lavender town with Rare Candy or a Master Ball (Or whatever you want to clone) in 6th slot.

6. Walk to the East entrance of the Underground path on Route 8. DO NOT BATTLE THE GAMBLER YET! Walk inside the little hut with the stairs and walk out.

7. Save.

8. Take one step south and pause the game before the Gambler sees you.

9. Fly to Fuscia City. The Gambler will see you as you are flying away, but he will not battle you because you are in the air.

10. The start button and the A and B buttons should not work when you get to Fuscia city.

14. Head to Route 15.

15. The first trainer you see should be the girl.

16. Let the girl WALK UP to you. Do not walk up to her.

17. Battle her and win.

18. Your buttons will work now. Fly to Lavender Town.

19. Save. Walk to Saffron city using Route 8.

20. As soon as you take your first step onto route 8 and the music changes, the start menu will come up by itself.

Press B. A wild Missingno. will appear!

no matter what these other guys say, u can trust me on this, no offense guys, but you are all WRONG. yes, the cheats do work, yes you can get missingno., yes, you can do all of that. trust me, i'm addicted to this game. i have infinite master balls, and 90,000 dalloars

Have you noticed, that in blue and red, the old man has 50 pokeballs, but in yellow, he only has one? Thats why it doesn't work. Missingno takes that information from the old man (the 50 part), multiplies that by two, then multiplies your one item. But in yellow, the old man only has 1 pokeball (1*1=1)
