how to connect two pokemon yellow games with a link cable
I've been trying to connect two Pokemon yellow games with the link cable
And one side says "welcome to the cable club! Please apply here before opening the link, we have to save the game."i clicked yes and it said "please wait" while
The other says "welcome to the cable club! This area is reserved for 2
Friends who are linked by cable." then it said "the link has been closed because
Of inactivity. Please contact your friend and come again!"
I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or if there is a special way to do iit but it any one could help that would be great

I nvr had a yellow but I had a similar problem on red.
Anyway I hope that these tips can help
1) try and go through the process pressing the buttons on each of the gameboys at the same time.
2) it might be the cable, it isn't uncommon to find that the cable is broken.
3) try the connection into the gameboy with the cable, with some you have to hold the cable in for the whole process.

I've tried multiple times reconnecting the links multiple times I have 4 GBA's I used all of them multiple times and with the same result only one of the games say they will connect the other does not. I even had one say it would connect on my Pokemon red so I turned out the other Gameboy that had blue in it. Replaced it for Pokemon redfire cause they coonect instantly went the Pokemon center and went to connect the firered with my Pokemon red it didn't work. I went to the talk with the trade center person with my Pokemon red after that already said it would connect and save and stuff her reply right after was The other says "welcome to the cable club! This area is reserved for 2
Friends who are linked by cable.". So I am guessing you just can't trade Pokemon on the GBA with red yellow blue.... Etc....
