Yes, there is. Push the start button. That will bring up the menu. Scroll down to SAVE and press A. When it asks you if you want to save the game, say yes.

By the way, if you do that and it doesn't work, it means that you're game isn't working, and I don't think that you can do anything about that problem. You'll have to get a new game.

Yah there is all you have to dois press start and then the menu will come
Up it will say the folling things

Pokedex
Pokemon
Item
Your name
Save
Option
Exit

Then scroll down to save and click on it then it will ask u
Would you like to SAVE the game ? Click yes
Then it will save your game
So if you turn it off your game will be saved and you will be in the place you saved it in ok
