Date of Question: Apr 24 2007 | Question ID: 83213 How do I catch a ghost in Pokemon tower not identified? I threw a master ball at it and the ghost dodged it. I couldn't injure it because my Pokemon were too scared to move. There has to be a way to catch him or else you can't complete your pokedex and wont be able to get the diploma from the guy in Celadown Mansion!! I've figured out you could get the diploma by reading things on the internet! |

You actually threw the Master Ball? Lol!!
Go to celadon game corner and battle a rocket grunt inside there...then read some poster and stairs will come out...beat the Rockets there including Giovani...after beating him..he will give you a Silph.Co...now you can see the ghost in the lavender Pokemon Tower

Note: you can have Ghost type Pokemon, but not Ghosts themselves. Once you get Silph Scope then you can identify then and then you can capture them. You can get ghost types like Ghastly and Haunter. Trust me. I've played this game over and over and you cannot and I mean cannot capture ghosts themselves, but you can capture Ghost Types. You can still get the Diploman when you've completed the Pokedex even without Ghosts.

You need to get the silph scope from the rocket building in celadon first.
