I have been looking for ages on pokemon silver for the stones like leaf stone water stone and fire stone does anyone know where they are?

They aren't in Johto. They're in Kanto in Cerulean City.

Go up to Bill's House and talk to Bill's grandpa. He'll want to see Pichu, Lickitung, Vulpix, Oddish, and Staryu.

With these pokemon, you'll get Thunder stone, everstone, fire stone, leaf stone, and a water stone.

Go to bills grandpa show him the pokemon he wants to see he will give you a stone different each time.

When you are in kanto go to bills father (or grandpa, not sure not sure which one) he will say "my son told me theres a pokemon with a long tongue, do you have it? if so please show me." Show him lickytongue and you get a stone (not sure which 1) then he ask for pok'emon with leafs on head show him oddish. This goes on until hes given you one of every evolution stone.

PS. bills father (or grandpa, not sure which one) lives in sea cottage(above nugget bridge at the city misty is in.
