I'm trying to find staryu in Pokemon Gold. I look in my pokedex for it's area and it doesnt come up. Please respond.

Okay first you must rate this answer and second Staryu isn't in Gold it's in Silver and Crystal.

Staryu is in Gold you find it in the water off of Cianwood in the night or in the river next to Cerulean Cape. Bills grandpa asks to see it if you show it to him you get a water stone.

The Pokedex can't track Pokemon that live in the sea.
So you have to fish everywhere.

I can't remeber where to fish but I know it's in gold and it's always found at night.

Just use a super rod off the coast of cianwood city thats how I got it!

You find Staryu at night, with a Super Rod, right off the coast of either Vermillion of the plave with the Safari Zone, I can't remember it's name.
