Hi, this is my first time posting here. I looked through the archives, and I couldn't see my question, but I might have just missed it, so please don't yell at me if it's been asked, okay?

<BR>Okay, so I'm in Mahogany Town, and I've beat Team Rocket, and I've beat the Gym Leader, and I'm thinking "Okay, what now?" so I have a bit of a look at a walkthrough, and I find out that Elm's meant to have called me, but he hasn't! So I give him a ring, and I realise I never got around to showing him my Togepi, so I go back and do that and then I go back to Mahogany Town, but he still won't call me. I try to leave, and obviously, I can't, and he still doesn't call. I go to Goldenrod, but I still can't get onto the next floor. I play with my radio, but there's no Team Rocket on it.

No, this is the first time this has come up.

So I assume that the guy is still blocking east of Mohagany. Did you go to the radio tower and find the fake director? Did you miss Olivine and Cianwood gym? That must be it! Go west of Ecruteak and talk to Jasmine at the top of the lighthouse. Go to Cianwood and beat Chuck. Get the medicine in the house and go back to the lighthouse. Then fight Jasmine. You might get a call then. If this is not it, then ask again.

You have had to have 7 badges at that stage to make Prof.Elm call you, dont forget olivine and cinnawood gyms...
