Question for Pokemon Gold

How do you find Red? That is pretty much the last thing I have to do in my game so I kind of want it finished.

Defeat all of the Kanto Gyms and talk to Professor Oak; he will arrange for Route 28 and Mount Silver to be accessible. Go to Route 2 and continue to the building that leads to the Victory Road corridor. Go across to Route 28 and continue to Mount Silver. Go inside the cave, activate Flash, and wend your way through to the back chamber. In the deepest part of the cave is Red.

If you defeat him, don't worry; he reappears each time you defeat the Pokémon League.

After you beat all 8 Kanto gyms, go to Oak. Talk to him and he'll arrange for you to go to Mount Silver. Go to Viridian City and head west from the poke center. Go into the building and go to the other side. Come out, walk til you see a Poke center. Then go in the cave and go all the way through the cave. You will find Red there.

After getting all 16 badges,go to Professor Oak. He'll tell you to go to Mt. Silver. Then go to Viridian City. From there,go west. Go through the grass and you'll end up at a door. Keep going west and you'll eventually reach a cave. At the end of the cave you'll find Red.
