Game review for Call of Duty 3 by Sadler
My experiance with the game. Is that it is excellent for wwII Fanatics. It is a fps heaven , opening the doorway to greater experiances in first-person shooters. It will be hard for begins of the wii's unique controller to get the feel of Call of Duty 3, but after about half an hour of gameplay it will become much easier on the players.
Facial graphics need improvement, battle graphics and guns excellent. Movie graphics could use slight tamporing but still excellent by my books. Some of the games more important graphics such as the line of sight while using a .45 caliber encampment need more work.
Sound is nearly flawless. Excellent battle music. The sounds of the gunfire and artillery shots make the player feel like he's actually in wwII. The characters in the story help alot with their yells and orders which really set this game apart from others.
Gameplay is amazing. The game uses the wii controller to the extreme. It uses the wii's contrller to best fit the game. Though if you pauss the game and go away for a minute it takes a while to get back your position. Also I find that thrusting the wii remote for melee attacks almost usless because if you do it worng you end up looking at the ground while a German beats you up.
The game is a game that can be enjoyed playing over and over again setting it to different difficulty levels is also a great way to add to the lastibility. I have owned this game since 5 mins after the store opened the door and I have only reached level 8. This is the game that just keeps n giving.
Overall it seems they spent a little to much time on the controller and less on facial graphics. I think it deserves a 7.5 out of ten instead of the 6.5 that nintendo gave it in the latest nintendo power, but hey it's their magazine but i'll hold firm on my 7.5.
