How to unlock Double Jump in The Last Faith

The Double Jump ability is important for end-game exploration in The Last Faith. To obtain it you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Get the Ordens Palace Master Key
• Ignite Four Braziers
• Defeat Manfredd the Accursed
• Find the Celestial Lava Item

This How to Unlock Double Jump in The Last Faith guide will go through each of these requirements and tell you what needs to be done. First, you will need to progress through the game enough to reach the Ordens Regnant Palace zone which is a late-game area.

Get the Ordens Palace Master Key

To open the chest in Hermann's office and acquire the Technological lens that will allow you to pass through spectral doors you need to get your hands on the Ordens Palace Master Key. The Technological Lens expands your mobility, allowing exploration of previously inaccessible areas.

The Ordens Palace Master Key can be found in a room found in the center of the palace which has a large frozen structure in the upper left corner. When you find the room make sure you clear out the small icicles as quickly as possible as they can deal damage. To reach this location you will need to have the Grappling Hook, Technological Gloves, and Propulsion Boots. You will also need to take out any enemies you encounter along the way.

Ignite Four Braziers

You need to have the Ordens Palace Master Key before you can start searching for the four Braziers you need to collect and ignite as they are locked behind doors that are blocking your way. Once you have this item you will be able to find the Braziers in the following locations in the palace.

Brazier #1

At the end of the long hall at the entrance to the Ordens Regnant Palace

Brazier #2

Behind the locked door in the middle western part of the map

Brazier #3

Near the very top of the Palace (you will need to use the Aerial Dash and Grappling Hook).

Brazier #4

In the easternmost room of the Palace (you will need to use the Aerial Dash and Grappling Hook).

Defeat Manfredd the Accursed

Once you have managed to ignite the four Braziers you will have a boss encounter with Lisa who is not difficult to defeat. After you have dispatched her continue to the door leading to the lair of boss Manfredd the Accursed which will now be opened.

Defeating Manfredd the Accursed is tricky, his attacks are massive and deal constant Frostbite status damage to you. Only attack immediately after the boss has attacked. Being frozen by Manfredd the Accursed is a death sentence in this fight, so you need to be patient and wait for the correct time to attack.

Find the Celestial Lava Item

Once you have defeated Manfredd the Accursed, go through the gate on the right side, until you come across a chest. After opening it, you will acquire Celestial Larva and receive the Double Jump ability.
