The premium currency of the game is Ancient Amber and it is exclusive to the mobile version of ARK: Survival Evolved. It offers limited XP boosts, single-use items and a quick path to building full structures.
Ancient amber can either be purchased in a pack using real money from the in-game store or it can be obtained randomly during gameplay a number of different ways. These include:
Harvest Anchient Amber from large predators
Collect small rocks and Ancient Amber nodes
Randomly as a 'Free Gift' by watching an advertisement video every few hours
Watch an advertisement video for one Ancient Amber
As Ancient Amber is so random there is no way that it can be farmed in-game.
15 × Ancient Amber can be bought for $0.99 USD
50 × Ancient Amber can be bought for $2.99 USD
200 × Ancient Amber can be bought for $9.99 USD
