To get this achievement when you reach level 8 your karma must be between -250 and 250 points. This can be difficult so make sure you keep checking your karma when you are close to levelling up.
From imaloony8.0 | Jun 27th 2009
Save your game anywhere there is a friendly NPC close by. Crouch by clicking in the left stick, and then pickpocket him with A. Now that you're in his inventory, go to your inventory and pick a grenade (I do not believe that Pulse Grenades will kill Humans) or a mine (Same deal, no pulse mine) and hit A. If you did it correctly, an item should appear in their inventory called "Live ________ Grenade", or something like that. Exit and watch him spaz out before dying. Get the achievement and load your save if you didn't want him dead or didn't want NPCs close by to become hostile.
From 0600Hours | Jun 12th 2009
IF you don't kow how to do this, while pickpocketing, go to your sid eof the screen by pressing one of the triggers, go to weapons, find a grenade, and put it in theis pocket with A. Then, exit that screen rn, and watch it explode!

A little tricky, as most enemies in the game are creatures, and many humans are tough or in large numbers, like in Megaton. That means, the easiest way to get this is to take on easier people in smaller groups. The easiest way to do this is in the area of the Bethesda offices. Outside of the building, around eight Raiders spawn every three days, and non are particularly tough, except for one or two with a sniper rifle, which, if you have the right equipment, shouldn't be a problem. More importantly, there's a raider with a Big Guns skill book who respawns in the East offices, making it a good place to gain Big Guns points as well! Grind here for a while, and you'll be at 300 people kills in no time.
From ressurection666 | Aug 3rd 2009
Very easy but time consuming to unlock this achivement. Simply pick 50 locks on eiter doors or chests, cabinets, drawers etc. Once you ahve done 50 of them this achievement will unlock.
From imaloony8.0 | Jun 3rd 2009
The best way to get this is to just walk around the DC area for a while. There are dozens of locations grouped around there, and you'll rack up plenty. If you're still short, walk around in the Capitol Wasteland too! If all else fails, get to level 20 and get the Explorer point, which reveals all locations in the game (Except for the ones in the DLC). They don't count towards this achievement until you actually visit them, but you can easily find enough once you know where they all are!

An even easier way is to got to Little Lamplight and talk with Knock Knock. Ask her what her duty as a moral officer is then hear a joke from her. After she tells the joke choose the speech option (you will have a 100% of succeeding). Do this as many times as you need in order to get this achievment,
From imaloony8.0 | Jun 27th 2009
The easiest way to complete this challenge is in Big Town. Make sure you have a decently hight Speech. Save in front of Bittercup, and talk to her until she tells you about her relationship with Pappy. Now, go talk to Pappy. He'll now have a speech check option. If your speech is high enough, the chance should be 100%. Select that option and speed through the conversation. Now, talk to him again, and the option should still be there! This way, you can get 50 speech successes in just a few minutes. Beware, as if you do not have enough speech for 100% and you fail the speech, it will disappear.
From 0600Hours | Jun 12th 2009
The way to get this Acheivement without wasting points in Speech is to save the game before every Speech Challenge. This way, if you lose, can just reload the game and try again.
From superbird5005 | Dec 13th 2009
This, is probably THE easiest achievement you could get on this game, other than beating the quests. Just simply play the game a lot, and kill everything that lives, except for Robots and Humans, as they don't count towards the achievement. Kill lots of Feral Ghouls, as they just go on non-stop.
From ressurection666 | Aug 3rd 2009
Very easy achivement to get just kill 300 not human enemies and this achivement will unlock.

best way to get the gauss rifle is to do the aid the outcasts quest and complete it then get the armor and gauss rifle.

There are five of these pus balls farting around the wasteland. While they're not all too difficult to find (Except for one obnoxious one), they're fairly difficult to kill. It's recommended that you use either the Fat Man, the Experimental MIRV, or the Alien Blaster (I was able to kill a Behemoth with one clip of this.) Here's where to find them:
1. The easiest to find, and the easiest to kill. After you discover that your Dad went to go see Three Dog at GNR, follow your map markers to find GNR. Note that if you skip this by going to see Dr. Lee at Rivet City first, the Behemoth will still appear, but it will be much more difficult to kill, as there will be no Fat Man spawn, and less BoS members to help.
When you make it to the general area where GNR is, you'll meet up with the Lyon's Pride, a special group from the Brotherhood of Steel. Help them fight their way to the Galaxy News Radio station and then kill all Super Mutants out in front of the building. After this, the Behemoth will burst from a pile of cars, killing a BoS member. Grab the Fat Man off the body of the guy hanging on the Fountain and use it to kill the Behemoth.
2. The next is in the Capitol building, across from the Washington Monuement. When you enter, turn right and follow the Talon company mercs. Don't get too cozy fighting next to them, once the Mutants are gone, they'll turn on you, so kill them quickly. Proceed through this way until you reach a large open area with the Behemoth in it. Use the door as a barrier, as the Behemoth can't fit through it, raising the question of how in the hell did he get in there in the first place? Regaurdless, swing in and out, taking shots at him with your Fat Man or Alien Blaster to kill him.
From here on out, you'll be pretty much on your own killing them.
3. This one is in Evergreen Mills, West of the Jury Metro Station. This place is swarming with Raiders, so kill all of them first. The Behemoth is in the middle of the settlement, contained in an electrified cage. If you'd like, just shoot him from outside the cage with a normal weapon, as he can't touch you from where he is. Be careful, as if you have a follower with you, they might throw a switch to open the cage for the Behemoth so they can get a shot at him. If you're daring, destroy the generator or throw the switch to let him out. Don't worry though, he doesn't have his Fire Hydrant club, making him pretty weak compared to the other Behemoths. Kill him with the Fat Man or Alien Blaster and continue on. For fun, without entering the settlement too far, shoot the generator, letting the Behemoth out, and watch him slaughter the Raider town.
4. Head East of Evergreen mills (Between Evergreen Mills and Jury Street Metro Station) until you find a pile of wrecked train cars in front of a tunnel. Clear out all the Super Mutants here and search the train cars until you find one with a shopping cart cage with a teddy bear inside. Open it and take the bear, and he will spawn up and behind the tunnel. If you're lucky, he'll get caught fighting some Talon Company Mercs or Regulators, or not notice you. Take this opritunity to snipe him with your Alien Blaster or Fat Man.
5. This one is the pain to get to. Find the Vernon Square East train station and take it to Takoma Park. Now, go all the way through the park until you find a huge open area past some Talon Company and Mutants fighting. At the beginning of this area, there is a truck you can climb up onto with a dead person next to a button. Looting a note off his body reveals that it is a switch to trigger Artilary Fire from far away. Hit the switch and the Artilary will soften up the Behemoth in the distance. Now, move in for the kill and enjoy this 20 GS.

In order to get this achievement, you have to get all 20 Vault-Tec Bobbleheads, which help a lot in the game. Make sure you get the Bobblehead in the beginning of the game, when you have to take the G.O.A.T test, on your Dad's desk. Then, when you are halfway through the game, when you are in Raven Rock, make sure you get the Bobblehead in the Colonel's Bedroom, otherwise this Achievement is Impossible, and you would have to start over to get them.

To get this, you not only need all the schematics for all seven custom weapons, but you also need all the stuff to create all the weapons. If you're really lazy and have Broken Steel, there's a perk you can get that opens up all the custom weapons for you to use, and then you just have to build them all, but for everyone else, here is all the weapons, what you need to build them, and the easiest way to get them all:
Bottlecap Mine - Lunchbox + 10 Bottle Caps + Sensor Module + Cherry Bomb - In the quest "The Wasteland Survival Guide", in the first tier of assignments she has for you, there will be one to head to the mine field. The primary objective here is the reach the playground in the middle of the field, but the secondary one is what we want for the schematics, which is to also bring her back a Frag Mine. Go north to the Mine field. Tell any followers to wait, as they might get in the way. Stay on the main road, and you'll easily see some frag mines on the road. Come up to the first one, disarm it with a press of the A button, and then pick it up for the secondary objective. Now, disarm any other mines on your way to the playground. Be careful, as there's a sniper who loves to blow up cars to try and kill you. You can kill him if you wish and get the key for the four houses with some nice loot in them, but he comes into play in another quest, so I'd advise against it. Reach the playground, and the head back to Moira and give her the Frag Mine to get the Bottlecap mine schematics.
Deathclaw Gauntlet - Leather Belt + Medical Brace + Wonderglue + Deathclaw Hand - There's a very easy one to find, surprisingly. Go the Rivet City and talk to Bannon and Patomic Attire. Talk to him about Seagrave Holmes. He'll ask you to get evidance of his wrong doing. Sneak into Holmes' room and look under his bed behind the footlocker to find a holotape. Now, go talk to Bannon about it and he'll tell you to tell Lana Danvers about this, but to not mention that he was involved. Go to the third floor of the guard tower, and wait until she's there. Tell her about the holotape but DO NOT mention that Bannon asked you to find it. Now, report back to Bannon and he will reward you with a 10% discount at his store and the Deathclaw Gauntlet Schematics. Seagrave will make you pay 10% more at his store however, but hey, anything for GS. Another note, the Deathclaw Hand can only be found on the body of a Deathclaw. The best place to find Deathclaws are in Old Olney and around and in the Deathclaw Sanctuary.
Rock-It Launcher - Vacuum Cleaner + Leaf Blower + Conductor + Fire hose Nozzle - Simple, can be bought off of Moira in Megaton. Costs a bit of cash, but is the easiest way to get it.
Railway Rifle - Steam Gauge Assembly + Pressure Cooker + Crutch + Fission Battery - Can be bought from Tulip in Underworld. Is also the reward for completing the quest, "Stealing Independence".
Shiskabab - Lawn Mower Blade + Pilot Light + Motorcycle Handbrake + Motorcycle Gas Tank - Can be bough off of the traveling merchant Luck Harris. Also is one of the rewards for completing the quest "Blood Ties" in a non violent way.
Nuka-Grenade - Nuka-Cola Quantum + Turpentine + Tin Can + Abraxo Cleaner - Is the reward for the quest "The Nuka-Cola Challenge" if completed by giving Sierra Petrovita, and can also be bought off of the traveling merchant Doc Hoff. Note that the Nuka-Cola Quantum is pretty rare, especially if you gave 30 to Sierra for the Nuka-Cola Challenge Quest. If you get the perk "Quantum Chemist" from Broken Steel, every 10 Nuka-Colas you find (Not Ice Cold) will turn into a quantum.
Dart Gun - Paint Gun + Radscorpion Poison Gland + Surgical Tubing + Toy Car - Can be bought in Tenpenny Tower by Michal Masters or Lydia Montenegro (Depending on who's left in the tower. Michal if you sided with the Ghouls in "Tenpenny Tower" by letting them in peacefully or by force, or Lydia if you killed the Ghouls). Is also the reward for siding with the slaves in the quest "Head of State", given by Hannibal Hamlin.
Now, just find the ingredients, make them all, and bam! 30 GS!
From superbird5005 | Dec 13th 2009
Now, this is probably harder than you think. Getting to level 30 is hard, since you need a lot of XP to get there. Simply do any quests you haven't done, and if you haven't done any of the DLC's other than Broken Steel, I'd suggest you get right to it, oh, and make sure your Karma is really bad to a point where you are the most hated person in the Wasteland.
From ressurection666 | Aug 3rd 2009
To unlock this achievement make sure that your karma is less than -250 points when you reach level 30.

This isn't really that hard. After you have complete the questline for Point Lookout, follow your compass to any undiscovered locations. They should be a small triangle that isn't filled on your compass. If it isn't, go to that spot and discover it. You will get this achievement once you have discovered all locations.
