Hey I'm a little late to answer, but I just reached 3000 PET points (not owner points, the points one pet has in it's profile), and my dog started to act differently. In other words, he's wagging his tail wildly when I pet him, which he didn't do before, and acts differently when doing tricks (shake paw turned into high five for example, laying down now makes him lay his head down, etc). I find it really neat and cute!

My dog has over 10000 point and still won't do the special tricks. He was my first dog and I've had him for 4 years now and still he won't do the tricks.

I had a nintendog dog named fluffy (labrador)I hade about 17000 pet points(I visited him every hour and I took him on walks 4 times daily) he would always know what I wanted to do . It was sort oof weird because he was like a literally real dog. My other dogs wouldn't really listen to me but fluffy always would.then my brother accidently reset the game.ps. Always keep your brothers or sisters away from your games!!!!!!!!!
