What does offering do exactly? I've offered 144k hearts to Viridi, and 39k to Palutena, but still nothing. Any advice?

Simply put, it adds new dialogue. No achievements and no weapons. And considering how smart the script is written in this game, it is very much so worth your hearts.

The answers above arent entirely correct, the closer the god is the more value the weapons you find in a level will be.

Nothing. On all the forums, I've heard all these theories put out and disproved, mainly by one creditable user who kept track of everything, from no hearts offered to I million plus. So, to Palutena does nothing for you, except for you pervs.

It makes you stronger so you can get more hearts 2 get better wepons.

Wahahahaha... Look at all those variety of answers... Its true that you find better wepons by doing this, but those wepons wont be that awesome.

Offering hearts to the godess gives better weapons being sold at the stre and more weapons are on sale.

It says it does nothing but to get Palutena and Viridi closer to the screen.

I've donated 100k+ of hearts to Palutena and I can say: it really does nothing!

It lets you get better weapons and more weapons on sale at the shop

So if like lets say you have 500000 you may not get value 100 weapons on a chapter at 0.0 inten' so it's worth it just takes a long time...
