Prey (2017) Xbox One Cheats and Tips

It is possible to unlock ALL your abilities/upgrades on the skill tree early in the game by getting the fabrication plan for Nneuromods. This is located at the Neuromod Division and when you have it you can use the duplication exploit to get unlimited materials and make as many Neuromods as you want at the Fabricator which will enable you to unlock ALL the abilities/upgrades on the skill tree.

During story objectives the NPC's (non-player character) will provide the missing part of keycodes and passwords if you cannot find them written on notes, emails, or recordings.

When you pre-order Prey (2017) you will receive the 'Cosmonaut Shotgun Pack' DLC as a bonus. This pack will contain the following DLC items:

Margrave Shotgun and Ammo Plans

2 Medkits

Starter Fabrication Materials

3 Transtar Neuromods

1 Recycler Shielding Chipset

The following trick which will enable you to get infinite materials can be performed at any point of the game when you have found a piece of material and a recycler.

Step 1:

Find a recycler

Step 2:

Add any material to it (Example: 10 Mineral Material)

Step 3:

Split the stack around 9 times, while in the recycler

Step 4:

Recycle it to get more of it, repeat.

This exploit is useful for crafting as it allows you to craft as many items as you want, as long as you have the fabrication plans for it.

When you complete the 'Who is December?' sidequest you will get the secret ending where you get access to Alex's escape pod and leaving the space station forever.

You will discover that most of the keycodes on Talos I are randomly generated, changing each time you start a new game. There are however a few codes that always stay the same. These static codes are listed below, use them to quickly unlock doors and safes.

Make sure that before you attempt to hack a keypad or workstation you look around as there is the possibility you will find the radomly generated keycode or password you need written on notes that are laying around nearby or contained within emails or audio recordings.

During the game there will be an opportunity for Morgan to gain alien powers. The video below will show you the consequences to that decision.
