Don't get Flanked

Always keep an eye out for enemies trying to flank you from behind or above. You can easily identify enemies as they have a red outline around their character and a red nameplate above their head.

Killing the Enemy

Try to avoid killing the enemy when they are right beside their spawn as they will be back into the fight quicker than you due to you having to spawn further away. This is particularly important at the start of a match.

Communicate with your Team

Communicate with your team, shouting obscenities during the middle of a firefight won't help anyone. Proper communication in games can be the difference between a win or adding another L to your record. Keep an eye on the killfeed as it is essential to communication, since it’s the game telling you what's going on.

When to Engage or Disengage

If you become proficient playing with multiple heroes it will help you decide what to do if you encounter them during a game. Knowing the strength and weaknesses of a hero will enable you to know when it's best to engage or disengage. Always engage enemies as a team and not alone. The best time is at a choke point where you have the advantage. If you are defending it is best to have the height advanatage.
