Unlock Rainbow Pigment

The requirements to unlock this secret armour:

A) Red 'Complete' ALL Optional Quests

B) Complete ALL Assignments, including the Tempered Kirin HR 49 Quest

C) Complete the limited quests for Zorah Magdaros and Xeno'jiva at least once. The Xeno quest 'A Light upon the River's Gloom' is the only 9* optional quest that is required.

Note: You can use a SOS flare and join for credit

Free-Roam Mode. How is this mode unlocked?

An hour or so into the game you will be allowed to go on Expeditions which is basically a free-roam mode where there are no objectives or time limits, and you can explore freely, avoiding or fighting creatures as you see fit.

Crafting Armour. What armour should I craft?

In the early game always look to craft the armour that has the biggest Defense number.
