In some of the missions against human enemies you will be able to stay hidden in the dark shadows and sneak past them. You can help avoid being detected by destroying or disabling various sources of light. Make sure that when you leave a friendly station you remember to purchase ammunition and make a point of exporing it's surrounding areas for any supply crates that may have ammunition inside.

Don't wast your ammunition as it is not easy to come by. Your opponents are very resistant to gunfire so make sure you aim for their head when you encounter them as this will allow you to spend only a few bullets on one opponent, instead of wasting an entire clip. The most effective weapons are revolvers as they perfrom single, powerful and accurate attacks.

Avoid purchasing any weapons in the early stages of the game because you will be able to find decent guns while exploring available areas. Focus on buying ammunition to all the guns you use frequently. However when you are close to the end of the game you should make some gun purchases.

Gold ammuntion can be used two ways, either as currency when you meet merchants or to insert into automatic weapons. It is recommended that you only consider using the gold ammunition as bullets when you are close to the end of the game because at that point you will not be needing it for making purchases.
