Stratagems
Purchase strategems whenever you are able to as these powerful moves will make taking down enemy bases easier. The video below is a montage of ALL the stratagem cards in the game and how to use the stratagems.
Titles
Titles are awarded depending on your play style. During your playthrough you will gain awards for doing specific things and reaching milestones that leads to the game picking a title that reflects all of your acomplishments.
Relationships
All close releationships will earn you periodic items and strategems randomly. Marriages lead to children that will have stats according to both parents and they become instant subordinates as well as possible heirs to your kingdom.
New Items
The easiest way to get new items, weapons, and stratagems is by buying them. The only way to unlock these things during the game is by building the respective facilities.
Stronger Weapons
To increase the stength of your weapons you need to build a weapon forge in your territory. To build this facility you need to be 'Prefect' or higher rank officer or become ruler of your own territory.
