Alternate Route
Even if you encounter no enemies on your way through an area you should always keep an eye out for alternate routes as you may have to use them on your return trip back to the tram or elevator you arrived on if you are faced with an unexpected enemy.
Noisemakers
Noisemakers are a useful tool as the beeping distractions work well with ALL enemy types and they can be used to coax the alien's attention toward human foes.
Move Quickly
There is always going to be an alien lurking in your general vincinity so there is no point being too cautious. You will have more success if you pick your route and go down it as quickly and effeciently as possible.
Save Station
As there are no automatic checkpoints you will have to track down and use a save station in order to avoid losing progress.
ID Tag Locations
Check out the video below if you are struggling to find the location of ALL 50 ID Tags to get the 'The Taken' Achievement. ID Tags are saved automatically and can be viewed when collected under the 'Map' menu. You will not need to collect them again if you die.
