I. Introduction - Helpful Notes
--------------------
This is my first GameFAQs faq. I wanted to do something small that
could help a few people. I recently brought this game, and I love it.
I and alot of the community have dubbed this game; 'The 2D Ninja Gaiden'
This guide will help you with getting all 200 achievement points
for this game.
II. The Achievements
-------------------
Typically, the lot of Achievements in DW:DS have odd numbers at the end.
A lot of achievements require completing the game or doing a certain
feat with combos.

A) And You Will Know Us... [AYWK]
---------------------------------------
- Impale 13 Freaks
- Gamerscore: 13
Difficulty: 3/10
- Freaks are the Enemies with Hooks on their hands. On Normal and
lower settings, they'll appear on the L'Opera Dramatique level. On higher
settings, you'll see them very early on. To impale them, simply use your
'B' or Messy Finsher on them.
CAUTION: - Impaling a Freak only counts if it's STORY mode. Arcade
does not count.

B) Cemetery Man [CMAN]
---------------------------------------
- Complete St. Crux Cemetary using only the Chainsaw.
- Gamerscore: 20
Difficulty: 4/10
Easy one. Just make sure you use the chainsaw all the way through
the level. I don't know whetever just taking out a weapon cancels this
achievement. But just don't risk it.

c) Got the Hat (40) [GTH]
--------------------------------------
- Beat the Game on Samurai Difficulty
- Gamerscore: 40
Difficulty: 9/10
No explanation needed here. Grab a stress ball and just get on with it.
Remember, to unlock Samurai Difficulty, you need to complete the game
on Normal or Ninja first.

D) Kill You Seven Times (14) [KYST]
--------------------------------------
- Air Juggle an Enemy for 10 Seconds
- Gamerscore: 14
Difficulty: 6/10
This is easier on an Arcade Stage. Get out your Clevers, do the
X, X, X, Down+X combo to Uppercut them, then get out your
Arsenal and rapidly attack em' in the air. Simple.

E) Master of Arcade Dishwashing (15) [MoAD]
-------------------------------------------
- Complete Arcade Mode
- Gamerscore: 15
Difficulty: 8/10
Just complete Arcade mode. Meaning you must have a high score
for all the stages. This can be made easier with Xbox Live or
Local Co-op.

F) Smash Your TV (13) [SYTV]
------------------------------------
- Secret (Not anymore, ha! Oh yeah. Spoilers.)
- Gamerscore: 13
Difficulty: 7/10
During the Final Boss, you can do a Excution Sequence on him
in his second form. Complete it successfully and the
Achievement is yours.

G) Smasher of Zombies (25) [SoZ]
-----------------------------------
- Complete the Game on Normal or Ninja Difficulty.
- Gamerscore: 25
Difficulty: 7/10
Not much to say. Just remember, not Easy. You won't
get the achievement if you do this on easy.

H) The Black Book Achievement (11) [TBBA]
-------------------------------------------
- Earn 100 Million points in an Arcade Level
- Gamerscore: 11
Difficulty: 6/10
Hard if you don't have any idea how to do it. I have two main
strategies here.
1. Go on Robot Rampage and Spam 'Y' with the Sword. Probably the best
one. (Thanks to soliunasm of the GameFAQs Board for this.)
2. Killing Ward and Spam 'X' with any quick weapon. Effective.

I) The Brutal Achievement (10) [TBA]
-------------------------------------
- Do 10 Wall slams in One Combo
- Gamerscore: 10
Difficulty: 4/10
You'll probably get this without trying. In case not, any
weapon's 'Y'attack will send the enemy backwards. Get them
to a wall and keep pressing 'Y' each time they bounce
off the wall.

J) The First Encounter (10) [TFE]
------------------------------------
- Secret
- Gamerscore: 10
Difficulty: 2/10
Kill the guy on the horse on the first level.

K) The Peter Moore Achievement (8) [TPMA]
-------------------------------------------
- Pay homage to one of our generation's greatest rock performances ever.
- Gamerscore: 8
Difficulty: 1/10
This achievement made me laugh. Get the guitar, play it, and while the
sound of the guitar is there, hit the Xbox Guide button. Ding.
Achievement Unlocked. If you're wondering what on earth this
achievement is about; watch this video.

L) Untouchable (21) [UNTO]
------------------------------------
- Get 21 kills without getting hit.
- Gamerscore: 21
Difficulty: 5/10
I got this in the first level of Arcade mode in Multiplayer. You don't need
to damage the enemies the most, you just need to be the one to kill them.
Just do the first level of Arcade mode and spam 'Y' with the Clevers.
