Welcome to my first FAQ. This FAQ was created to assist fellow gamers in
obtaining one of the hardest achievements on the 360 - the 100% battle trophy
completion.

I know first hand how difficult this achievement is, as I've earned it. It's
certainly not easy. Hopefully this guide will help many others obtain those
pesky trophies, or help answer any battle trophy questions anyone may have.

BT ....... Battle Trophy
MC ....... Main Character (I use this two ways through this guide. I use it as
a noun, describing the MC as the Main Character, but
also as a verb, such as "MC Faize". When I do this,
I mean to set Faize as the active battle leader)

This FAQ is "Find Friendly". If you wish to find a BT, the format is the name
of the character, a dash, then a number with a preceeding 0 if less than 100.
For example, the to search for the 5th trophy for Edge, you would search for
Edge-005.

The strategies of this guide were written as such with the assumption that you
are level 255, and have acquired all skills in the game, and are using this
guide as a means of "trophy farming". While you can certainly use this guide
in the main game for many of the BT, there might be some strategies given that
may not be possible during the point you are at in the main game such as going
to the 7SD or WD for defeating enemies.

So what does getting BTs give you? Well, most importantly you get some tasty
achievements, all worth 10G each. You earn an achievement for every 90 BTs you
earn. You also get a BT bonus in game for earning a certain amount. Those are
listed here:

      25% BT: Voice Collection 1
      50% BT: Level Cap Removed
      75% BT: Voice Collection 2
     100% BT: CP Bonus

The extra voices actually occur before you actually earn the bonus, but the
final part of the voices unlock once you've earned the bonus. For example,
Edge might get 3 voice overs at 12%, 18%, and 25% BT for him. Level Cap
Removed allows your character to achieve level 255 instead of level 200.
Finally, the for getting 100% of a characters BT, you will get a whopping (lol)
three extra CP points, making your max CP 22 once leveled to 50.

Since you want to earn all 900 BTs, there are a few facts that you absolutely
must know and absolutely must not forget while pursuing this endeavor
especially concerning how the BTs work with your save games:

* Earning 900 BTs is no joke. I'm not kidding. Expect to spend at the
absolute minimum 400-450 hours in your first playthrough getting 90% of the
BTs. This is a test of patience, perseverance, and (some) skill. A large
amount of the BTs involve very mundane tasks and pointless actions that get
  very boring very fast.

* Despite what you might have heard, you can earn all 900 BTs in a single
playthrough. You do, however, need to complete the game. You lose Faize
during the first playthrough of the game, but if you save the game
just before the point of losing him into a different unique save spot, you
can later reload this game AFTER you have cleared the game and choose to
keep him. Make sure you keep the "Faize Save" and the "Arumat Save"
  seperate!

* Most people start getting worn out at the 70% to 80% BT mark. If you are
going crazy at 70%, and are getting sick and tired of this game, you might
consider pushing to 90% and stopping. The final 10% are without a doubt the
hardest BTs to get and there is absolutely no difference in stopping at
810 BTs and stopping at 899 BTs. 900 BTs is all that matters at that point.

* There are some battle trophies that are much easier to obtain in areas that
are missable, and unavailable at later points in the game. These battle
trophies could take a long time to obtain as well. Plan to spend time in
these missable areas to obtain these trophies faster.

* There are two types of saves: "Game Save" and "Collection Save". I will
explain the difference as it relates to BTs:

Game Save: This save file is your actual save game you see in one of
the 20 possible save slots. The only BT data that is
stored in your game saves are the statistics of BTs for
that particular playthrough. For example how many enemies
has Edge defeated, how many enemies has Arumat defeated, how
many battles has Faize been in, etc. The actual BTs
themselves are not stored in this file.

Collection Save: This is a single save file that stores all of your
collection data, that you've collected in every playthrough
such as spaceships collected, weapon data, etc. It also
stores BTs that you have COMPLETED. This file is invisible
to the game interface, but is updated every time you save
a game, reguardless of which playthrough.

* Because of the way the two save types were designed, BT progression does NOT
carry over playthroughs. For example, if you are working on the BT to defeat
4,000 enemies playing playthrough #1, then you must defeat 4,000 enemies in
playthrough #1 in order to get the BT. If you defeat 3,999 enemies in
playthrough #1, save the game, and load playthrough #2, defeating one enemy
will not give you the 4,000 enemy BT because the statistic for killing 3,999
enemies was saved in playthrough #1 file. However, if you earn the BT in
playthrough #1, and save the game, then that BT will show as a completed
BT in playthrough #2. However, in playthrough #2, it has a completely
independent counter from playthrough #1, therefore to get the next BT in the
sequence "Defeat 8,000 enemies", you would have to defeat 8,000 enemies on
playthrough #2, or just 4,000 enemies on playthrough #1 (Since you already
  defeated 4,000 in playthrough #1).

* To reiterate - once you have earned a BT and saved the game, then that BT
will be marked as complete for all of your saved games because the collection
save will be updated showing that BT as complete.

* Unlike Star Ocean 3, you do earn BTs in Earth difficulty. It is, however,
NOT recommended your first playthrough be on Earth difficulty.

* There is one BT that is impossible to earn in Chaos mode. While the BT would
unlock if you met the requirements for it, the requirements are impossible
to earn in Chaos mode. Specifically I'm referring to Lymle-100, defeating
the EQ in 10 minutes. You're not going to do this on Chaos mode even with
  the best gear possible.

== [BTSTRAT] Battle Trophy Strategies
=================================-=-- -.- .  .

In this section, each BT will be broken out by its type. The difficulty,
estimated time, and estimated enemies to defeat are estimates in order to get
ALL of the BTs listed for that BT type.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Defeat ## Enemies
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Extremely difficult
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 120 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 60,000

Special conditions of these trophies:

When the enemy dies, the person who landed the kill shot must also be the
MC for it to count. If the AI initiated the attack, but you made that
person MC before the enemy was defeated, then you will get credit for the
     kill.

BTs that apply to this type:

       Edge-001: Defeat 100 enemies
       Edge-011: Defeat 200 enemies
       Edge-021: Defeat 400 enemies
       Edge-033: Defeat 700 enemies
       Edge-043: Defeat 1,000 enemies
       Edge-055: Defeat 2,000 enemies
       Edge-065: Defeat 4,000 enemies
       Edge-072: Defeat 8,000 enemies
       Edge-084: Defeat 15,000 enemies
       Edge-093: Defeat 30,000 enemies
     Arumat-009: Defeat 108 enemies
     Arumat-028: Defeat 200 enemies
     Arumat-030: Defeat 400 enemies
     Arumat-041: Defeat 666 enemies
     Arumat-053: Defeat 1,000 enemies
     Arumat-060: Defeat 2,000 enemies
     Arumat-067: Defeat 4,444 enemies
     Arumat-079: Defeat 8,000 enemies
     Arumat-089: Defeat 15,000 enemies
     Arumat-098: Defeat 30,000 enemies

Strategy:

These are very easy BTs strategy wise, but just very very time consuming.
Expect one or both of the 30,000 enemy kills to be some of your final
BTs, if not your final (My 900th BT was Arumat-098).

When you grind out these BTs, the best place for Edge is the Palace of
Creation. At the entrance of the Palace of creation there will be an
enemy to your left and right that will agro you when you go in.
Additionally further to your left is some stairs and a lava golem (as well
as an undead further past the lava golem and up the stairs). There is also
a lizard looking mob to the far right of the room. All of this is before
the swinging pendulum. You can agro these mobs and run them closer toward
the base of the stairs on the left handrail area and get in a fight with
them, one at a time trying to avoid ambushes so that you agro them when
they are on the left hand side of the base of the stairs. Some of the mobs
are restricted and cannot move exactly on that area, but they will be close
enough to ambush. After you've got all the mobs in place, move back some,
and repop the enemies. Immediately afterward, sprint right into them. If
you have done this right, you will get a 200% Ambush bonus at the end of
the fight. Any time you do not have a 200% Ambush it is because an enemy
ran too far away, or you were standing on top of a spot where an enemy
died when you attempted to repop the enemies. Edge unfortunately has no
fast way of killing enemies. I just used normal attacks when I did this.

For Arumat, synth a 2xSS and give this to Bacchus. On 1F of 7SD the first
enemies you will encounter should be a group of hornets and bats. If its
ornets and perytons or hornets and skeletons, exit 7SD and try again.
Once you get hornets and bats, then allow them to surprise you/ambush you
constantly. The surprise attacks will generate 7 or 8 enemies and the
ambush can be 3, 4, 5, or 6. When fighting, use Bacchus to spam Black
Hole Sphere to group all of the enemies together and then (hopefully)
before they get into Rush Mode, use Dragon Roar to kill them all at once.

For Arumat, in order to estimate how long this will take you, assume that
the average encounter size is 6.2 enemies per encounter. Once you obtain
the "next" defeat BT, subtract that number from 30,000 and divide it
by 6.2 to get the number of encounters needed. Add that number to your
existing encounters number (shown to the right of the timer on the menu)
in order to get an estimation of when you will be done. For example, if
you had 7,250 encounters counted thusfar, and just received Arumat's
defeat 8,000 enemies BT, then you would perform the following math:

     (30000-8000)/6.2 = 3548 (+ 7250) = 10798

At 10,798 encounters, you should be very close to Arumats 30,000 BT.

Note that Kokabiel spawns do NOT count toward these BTs. This has been
     verified.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Land ## hits in total
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 5 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 12

Special conditions of these trophies:

Only the hits that land when you are MC count. AI controlled
hits do not count toward this BT.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-009: Land 1,000 hits in total
Edge-030: Land 3,000 hits in total
Edge-049: Land 10,000 hits in total
Edge-070: Land 30,000 hits in total
Edge-090: Land 99,999 hits in total
Meracle-005: Land 1,000 hits in total
Meracle-027: Land 3,000 hits in total
Meracle-045: Land 10,000 hits in total
Meracle-049: Land 20,000 hits in total
Meracle-068: Land 30,000 hits in total
Meracle-088: Land 99,999 hits in total

Strategy:

Synth a 2xSS and give to the MC. Synth a 4ATK Slayers Bangle and equip
this and enter the "Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!" team colosseum battle. With your
teammates on manual and you getting agro, start spamming the attack
button. You will eventually get all of these hits.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Deal exactly ## points of damage
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate (or Very Hard)
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 10 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... Wide variance

Special conditions of these trophies:

You must land the exact damage stated while that character is the MC.
The AI cannot earn this BT for you.

Arumat-042: Deal exactly 44,444 points of damage
Arumat-059: Deal the same amount of damage twice in a row

Strategy:

How are these Moderate? There is a formula for getting the exact damage
BTs. Special thanks to the x360a.org community for this one.

I've written a program to compute this using the formula posted on x360a.
You can download the program here:

     http://www.ffmaps.com/flipt/so4exact.exe

It will ask you to preform certain tasks in game and ask for numerical
results. In the end, it will tell you the ATK necessary to get the BT.
If you do not wish to use the program, then you will need to adjust your
ATK manually until you are hitting close to the range.

Bacchus 32,768 and 65,536 BTs are harder to get. You must wait until
Bacchus has 99,999 HP and then adjust your ATK. You must use a SD3K to
do this much damage with Bacchus. You can use the above program to help,
but the variance on ATK is very small when using SD3Ks.

For Bacchus-034, scan the enemy and adjust your ATK to match the ATK
so that you land roughly that much damage in a single hit.

For Arumat-059, just equip a 2xSS and fight an enemy other than a scumbag
type to get this BT quickly.

Arumat-056: Deal at least 70,000 points of damage
Arumat-064: Deal at least 99,999 points of damage

Strategy:

Most of these BTs will occur naturally throughout the game. If you want
to earn any of the 99,999 damage BTs and are having trouble dealing
that much damage, just max your HP as much as you possibly can and
and use a SD3K next to a few monsters. SD3Ks are fire elemental based, so
you might not want to use them against a fire resistant monster, however.
A SD3K with 4xSacred Pain on a mob plus 4xEnhance on the MC will likely do
     99,999 damage.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Deal at least ## points of damage (With Conditions)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 2 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 5

Special conditions of these trophies:

You must land at least a certain amount of damage, and must do so in a
special condition. It does not need to be exact. The AI cannot earn
     this BT for you.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-099: Deal 99,999 points of damage without a weapon
Lymle-099: Deal at least 99,999 points of damage with Fire Bolt
Arumat-065: Deal at least 30,000 points of overkill damage
Arumat-090: Deal at least 90,000 points of overkill damage

Strategy:

In order to get Lymles BT, you must synth a laser weapon or something
better with 4 Symbol Card "Volcanic Burst". This will put 4 factors on
the weapon with +15% damage for fire symbols.

At level 200 at least, with your battle skills configured with only
Fire Bolt in every slot, go to 7SD 7F and fight Barachiel. Use
Sarah to cast Sacred Pain x4 on Barachiel. Give Lymle Mindflare and other
INT boosts as well. If you land a fireball hit in a 280% Chain Bonus on
its weak spot, it will deal 99,999 points of damage.

You can watch a Youtube demo of obtaining Lymles BT here:

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQ7v9RgxyW8&fmt=22

For Arumats two "overkill" damage BTs, this refers to the amount of
damage done over the point that the enemy would die. The easiest way to
obtain this BT is to reduce its HP to a very small amount, and then
enter a rush combo with him preferably using Dragon Roar. This would
     generate both BTs easily.

For Edge, landing a critical hit using raging strike will deal devistating
damage. Go Berserk for a better chance as well. You can also use a SD3K
without a weapon equipped to score 99,999 damage if you have high HP and
high ATK (without a weapon, of course).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Pull off ## Blindsides
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 6 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

Using Beat S and double-blindsiding DOES count as two blindsides and can
speed up the process of getting these BTs.

BTs that apply to this type:

        Edge-007: Pull off five Blindsides
        Edge-017: Pull off 20 Blindsides
        Edge-039: Pull off 50 Blindsides
        Edge-061: Pull off 200 Blindsides
        Edge-079: Pull off 1,000 Blindsides
Meracle-067: Blindside one enemy 10 times
     Meracle-071: Pull off 20 Blindsides
     Meracle-081: Pull off 50 Blindsides
     Meracle-091: Pull off 200 Blindsides
Meracle-092: Blindside one enemy 30 times
     Meracle-099: Pull off 1,000 Blindsides
      Arumat-007: Pull off 20 Blindsides
      Arumat-018: Pull off 50 Blindsides
      Arumat-038: Pull off 200 Blindsides
      Arumat-058: Pull off 1,000 Blindsides

Strategy:

Blindside enemies. That is all. With Meracle, make sure you blindside
one enemy 30 times in the process to obtain her additional two BTs.

     Enemy Recommendations:

Metal Golem in EN II is a good enemy as they do not use any
symbols and you can double-blindside them not to mention
          they are very slow.

On floor 8 of the WD, Imperfect Aramos can be blindsided over
and over quickly. Blindside, hit, Blindside, hit, etc.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Win ## colosseum solo battles
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Very Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 18 hr
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 1,800

Special conditions of these trophies:

Warning that the consecutive solo BTs must be done in one sitting without
fighting anything else, including any team battles. You absolutely must
fight 50 in a row without doing anything else. You can save in the
     middle of this process, however.

What enemies you fight are irrelivant to the BT. You can fight the
weakest enemy over and over if you wish.

Myuria-028: Win 20 colosseum solo battles
Myuria-041: Win 50 colosseum solo battles
Myuria-059: Win 100 colosseum solo battles
Myuria-083: Win 200 colosseum solo battles

Arumat-061: Win 100 colosseum solo battles
Arumat-073: Win 150 colosseum solo battles
Arumat-081: Win 200 colosseum solo battles
Arumat-091: Win 50 consecutive colosseum solo battles

Strategy:

This would be a good opportunity to knock out some other BTs that require
some special conditions. For example, with Edge I picked the set that
gave me poison bombs, and I used one in every fight. While I did not get
his defeat 100 poisoned enemies BT, I did get several kills of the enemy
while poisoned so when I actually worked on that BT, it took less time.

Note that Arumat has an extra BT in there, so if you're working toward 50%
BT completion to unlock level 255 for him, these are a quick 6 BTs to
get and you will actually get others in the process.

To earn all of these, you must fight 1,800 colosseum battles.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Rush Combo related
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Very Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 10 minutes
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 2

Special conditions of these trophies:

Edge must be MC and must land the killing blow during the Rush Combo.

BTs that apply to this type:

     Edge-040: Land a 5-hit Rush Combo
     Edge-050: Land a 6-hit Rush Combo
Edge-054: Defeat a Grigori with a Rush Combo
Edge-062: Complete a perfect Rush Combo

Strategy:

You must have Chain Combos maxed, and have abilities assigned to each one.
To obtain 040, 050, and 062 for Edge, you only need to complete one
perfect Rush Combo, which is initiated by pressing X and then LT or RT
buttons immediately afterward. This will trigger rush mode. You might
want to use this on a formidable enemy as it needs to survive through to
the final part of the rush combo.

To defeat a Grigori, I would recommend Tamiel in the Purgatorium because
you can see his HP drop. Once he has very low HP, set everyone to manual
and use Edge to trigger a Rush Combo. Make sure Edge gets the kill shot.

BT Type: Defeat ## enemies (Specific enemy types)

Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 25 hours

Special conditions of these trophies:

Only MC receives credit for his/her killing blow, so the AI cannot
     earn this BT for you.

      Arumat-043: Defeat 300 insect enemies
      Arumat-069: Defeat 500 insect enemies
      Arumat-086: Defeat 999 insect enemies

Strategy:

You must kill certain types of enemies in order to get these BTs. If you
are unsure what type of enemies are what, consult the monster collection.

You can use the colosseum if you want for most of these. I personally
dislike all the "chatter" using the colosseum, but it does work well for
     this method.

The recommended monsters/path to take for these if you do NOT use the
     colosseum are:

Edge (Humanoids): Get these when you are farming your 255 Anthropology
drops from the humanoids on Nox Obscuris at the
entrance room of the palace of creation.

Reimi (Plants): Get these when you are farming your 255 Botany drops from
the WD plant enemies (Myconids and Acid Gerels) on 2F-6F.

Faize (Insect): Get these from the insects on Aeos.

Lymle (Undead): Get these when farming Parapsychology drops from the WD
                     undead enemies on 6F-14F.

Lymle (Scumbag): Get one of these when farming XP from 6F 7SD from
Metal Scumbags. Use Bacchus with Black Hole Sphere with
very little ATK (But don't use a scumbag slayer!) to
bunch the scumbags together, and then use Lymle's
Trinity Blaze ability to kill them all. Earn her Metal
Scumbag BT this way, and then either continue this
method (especially if you're farming XP or money), or for
faster kills go to the colosseum and fight the team
battle "Space Cowboys" for an encounter of 6 scumbags
                      that do not run.

Bacchus (Mechanical): You can obtain these easily by either killing
metal scumbags in 6F 7SD, or early in the game on
the Cardianon Mothership. Because you also have to
get 255 Robotics items for Bacchus, I would
                           recommend the Cardianon Mothership.

Meracle (Avian): Get these when you are farming your 255 Ornithology drops
from 2F 7SD from Crater Perytons.

Sarah (Animal): Get these when you are farming your 255 Zoology drops from
14-17F WD from Lizard Tyrants. Use nothing but Tornado to
attack them. You can speed up the process too by synthing
four +15% to wind symbols ona weapon. If fighting in the
WD with Sarah is too long for you, the squirrels around
                     Tatroi are another good option.

Sarah (Airborne): You will get most of these when getting the Animal ones
if you have followed my advice and used nothing but
Tornado in the WD. If you do not get all 1,000 kills
this way, then you can finish up by killing any enemy
that is airborne. I recommend the bees on Roak.

Myuria (Demon): Few recommendations for this one - try to get surprised by
Leonblades in the 7SD on 2F-4F. If you are surprised,
as much as eight will appear per fight. Two Plasma
Cyclones will kill them all if you have 9,999 INT. You
                     can also fight

Arumat (Insect): Get these from Aeos when you are in the Miga Insect
Warren or from 1F-4F WD when farming 255 Entomology drops.

BT Type: -ology Drops
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Difficult
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 75-85 hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 8,000

Special conditions of these trophies:

The MC at the end of the entire battle is the only person that gets
credit for the drops. You DO NOT have to have room for the drop in your
inventory. The -ology drop is listed as the first item drop shown in the
monster collection, assuming you've gotten all of the possible drops.
Level DOES NOT affect drop rate - only the "invisible" luck of the MC.

Arumat-082: Obtain two Entomology item drops in a row
Arumat-096: Obtain 255 Entomology item drops

Strategy:

NOTE: The below section lists enemies that are recommended kills to get
these BTs. The item in brackets next to the enemy is the drop that
counts toward the -ology drop for that player. The enemies are in
order from the most recommended to the least. Please do not send
me emails stating there are many other monsters that would work out,
as I am aware of this. However, please DO send me emails if you
have a recommendation that would make this process faster.

     EDGE (Anthropology)

     Type:
          Humanoid

     Enemies:
Nox Obscuris: Dark Raptor [Disentigration Stone]
          Purgatorium: Sydonist Alpha [Cloudy Cider]
          Purgatorium: Spirit Priest [Lezard's Flask]

Please note that this strategy is designed with both the 30k BT and 255
drops in mind. If you do not wish to go for the 30k BT, and only the 255
drops BT, then you might consider going the Purgatorium route, or focus
on getting surprised by the Dark Raptors.

At the entrance of the Palace of creation there will be a mob to your left
and right that will agro you when you go in. Additionally further to your
left is some stairs and a lava golem (as well as an undead further past
the lava golem and up the stairs). There is also a lizard looking mob to
the far right of the room. All of this is before the swinging pendulum.

You can agro these mobs and run them closer toward the base of the stairs
on the left handrail area and get in a fight with them, one at a time
trying to avoid ambushes so that you agro them when they are on the left
hand side of the base of the stairs. Some of the mobs are restricted and
cannot move exactly on that area, but they will be close enough to ambush.

After you've got all the mobs in place, move back some, repop the mobs by
using Meracles "Ocarina" skill. Immediately afterward, sprint right into
the mobs. If you have done this right, you will get a 200% Ambush bonus
at the end of the fight. If you have 150%, then a mob is out of range and
you should be able to lead him back or you were standing too close to a
respawn point when you used Ocarina. There will be 10-15 humanoids per
200% Ambush, and you get a better chance of drops in an Ambush like this.

     REIMI (Botany)

     Type:
          Plant
     Enemies:
Wandering Dungeon 1F-4F: Acid Gerel [Geostone]
          Wandering Dungeon 1F-4F: Myconid [Geostone]
          Lemuris: Mushrooms [Tasty Mushroom]

Go into the WD, and fight each monster until you find that all 2, or 3
sets in a room are all the same type (plant in Reimi's case). Then lure
them around and get surprised by them.

     ARUMAT (Entimology)

     Type:
          Insect
     Enemies:
Wandering Dungeon 1F-4F: Adephaga Prox [Geostone]
          Aeos: Adephaga [Protection Seeds]
          Aeos: Adephaga Drus [Protection Seeds]

Go into the WD, and fight each monster until you find that all 2, or 3
sets in a room are all the same type (insect in Arumat's case). Then lure
them around and get surprised by them.

     SARAH (Zoology)

     Type:
          Plant
     Enemies:
Wandering Dungeon 16F-18F: Lizard Tyrant [Geostone]
Wandering Dungeon 1F-3F: Kobald Ranger [Geostone]
Wandering Dungeon 1F-3F: Kobald Bandit [All-Purpose Ceramic]

Go into the WD, and fight each monster until you find that all 2, or 3
sets in a room are all the same type (animal in Sarah's case). Then lure
them around and get surprised by them.

     MYURIA (Demonology)

     Type:
          Demon
     Enemies:
Wandering Dungeon 6F-10F: Jade Golem [Geostone]
Wandering Dungeon 14F-20F: Damascus Fort [Geostone]
Astral Caves: Rock Hermit [Mystery Box]

Go into the WD, and fight each monster until you find that all 2, or 3
sets in a room are all the same type (demon in Myuria's case). Then lure
them around and get surprised by them.

     LYMLE (Parapsychology)

     Type:
          Undead
     Enemies:
          Wandering Dungeon 6F-13F: Ghostkeeper [Geostone]
Wandering Dungeon 6F-13F: Arch Spellmaster [Geostone]
Alanaire Citadel: Skeleton Soldier [Special Warishita Sauce]

Go into the WD, and fight each monster until you find that all 2, or 3
sets in a room are all the same type (undead in Lymles case). Then lure
them around and get surprised by them.

     MERACLE (Ornithology)

     Type:
          Bird
     Enemies:
Cave of the Seven Stars 2F: Crater Peryton [Sylphstone]
Planet Roak: Axe Beak [Rotten Fish]

Go into the 7SD 2nd Floor and in the upper left area, there will be two
Crater Peryton spawns there (If there is one plus a harpy, leave and come
back). Get in a fight with these and collect Sylphstones for your drop.

     BACCHUS (Robotics)

     Type:
          Mechanical
     Enemies:
Cardianon Mothership: Guard Bot "Commando" [Compact Freezing Bomb]
Cardianon Mothership: Guard Bot "Assaulter" [Compact Poison Bomb]
Cardianon Mothership: Armed Dragoon [Compact Stun Bomb]
Cave of the Seven Stars 6F: Metal Scumbag [Thorstone]
Nox Obscuris: Dark Bot "Striker" [MP Absorption Unit]

First off, I believe that the Cardianon Mothership is the least tedious
place to get these, but its missable. So you're either going to spend a
lot of time there going back, or if you have no saves there anymore like
I did, you're going to start a whole new game till you get there to make
it the least tedious. Numerous reports state this takes about 15-20 hours
     to get all 255 drops.

However, if you do not wish to start a new game, then go into the 7SD 6th
Floor and the little square area on the lower right area of the map is a
Metal Scumbag spawn. What I did to get all of these drops in about 12-15
hours was to get in a fight with it, and use Bacchus to spam
Black Hole Sphere, Give Meracle a scumbag slayer and use Reimi, Arumat,
Meracle, and Bacchus in your party. Set the tactics to "Full Force
Freestyle". Set Arumat to only do Dragon Roar Meracle to only do X Claw,
and Reimi to only do Crescent Wings. Get in a fight and spam
Black Hole Sphere. Most of the time Reimi will hit a mob as its escaping,
and Meracle will kill them all with X Claw. Arumat will take out crabs
with Dragon Roar along with Reimi as a crab will usually spawn with
     this enemy.

I had to kill 4,116 Metal Scumbags to go from 17 drops to 255 drops,
averaging a 5.7% drop rate, or one drop every 17 metal scumbags killed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Attack first

Special conditions of these trophies:

The MC or enemy who attacks first will get credit for being first
to attack. Make sure it is the MC.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-002: Attack first five times in a row
Edge-003: Attack first with a special art
Edge-022: Attack first 10 times in a row
Edge-044: Attack first 20 times in a row
Edge-066: Attack first 30 times in a row
Edge-085: Attack first 50 times in a row
Meracle-008: Attack first with a special art

      Arumat-062: Attack first 200 times
      Arumat-076: Attack first 300 times
      Arumat-093: Attack first 500 times

Strategy:

For Edge, just set everyone on manual. The best time to get this is at
the very start of the game and just put Reimi on manual. By the time you
get your next party member, you should obtain all of his BTs if just once
you attack first with Rising Blade.

For the rest, just follow instructions. Not difficult. :)

Strategy:

Most of these BTs require only instruction as to how to do specific
attacks, such as a "wake-up attack". These definitions are below:

Special Art - An art that you use via LT or RT.
Wake-up Attack - After being knocked to the ground by an enemy,
start spamming the attack button and you should
                           get this.
Knockdown Attack - Defeating an enemy with an attack that would
normally throw them to the ground will nab
                             these.
Leg-based Attack - Defeat an enemy using any attack that
includes an attack from the legs (i.e.
                             Raging Strike, Mystic Cross, Acrobatic
                             Vault, etc).
Close-Quarters Attack - Hold directional stick toward the enemy
                                  and attack.
Jump Attack - Press the B button and then A quickly afterward.
For Reimi she will jump and shoot an arrow while
still in the air. For Bacchus, he will slide
foreward and will shoot while moving as you tap
                        the attack button.
Weapon Attack - A standard melee attack.
Only Symbols - Use only symbols and no melee attacks at all.
With Cerberus - Lymle must use a special skill that summons
Cerberus and he must defeat the enemy
                          (i.e. Hound Grenade).
Only Fire Bolt - Lymle must defeat an enemy using nothing but
                           Fire Bolt.
Support Mech - An attack where Bacchus will summon a mech to
attack. Godslayer is an example of a
                         Support Mech skill.
With Exact Damage - When the attack that kills the enemy lands,
it must land for exactly the amount of HP
                              the enemy has remaining.
          Items - Includes Symbol Cards.
Four Elements - Cast symbols of different elements, and then use
a symbol card for the fourth (Myuria can only
                          attack in three elements).
In one hit - A single swing of the scythe killing the enemy.
From poison - Poison damage must defeat the enemy.
Single Swipe - With a scumbag slayer, a single swipe is actually
killing the scumbag enemy with the scumbag slayer
                         effect firing off.
From Behind - Meracle and Arumat have attacks that attack behind
them. You need to set up so that you are
sandwiched between two enemies and attack the one
in front of you, and as a side effect, the one
behind you gets hit and killed as well.

Arumat-100 is self explanatory. Your HP must be at 5% or less and he
must land the killing blow 100 times. Good to fight Aeos bugs.

Myuria-021 requires that the enemy dies via poison damage (but can receive
     other damage as well).

Myuria-075 requires that you synth a staff with "Attacks cause poison
status" as well as "Attacks add earth element". Then, you need to fight
a Lamia Redux on the second part of Aeos. Attack with her normally, doing
0 damage every attack. Once the Lamis Redux is poisoned, cease attacking
and just wait awhile for it to die. Do not switch from Myuria during this
     process.

Bacchus-003 and Bacchus-091 BTs are actually very easy to get. Just synth
a 2xSS and spam Black Hole Sphere against some easy, non-Scumbag enemies
such as the bugs on Aeos. Eventually you will get both of these BTs.
If you are having trouble with this, then alternatively, you can use this
     method (thanks summoner191 from x360a.org):

Galaxy: Scan Kobolds in Alanaire Citadel and notice they have
576hp. Use a Compact Poison Bomb and wait until the
poison drops his HP to 90hp. Very quickly use another
Compact Poison Bomb before the poison kills him, and
you will do 90 damage, killing the enemy with exact
                  damage.

       Earth and
Universe: Same tactics as Galaxy, but fight Adephaga on Aeos.

Chaos: Same tactics as Galaxy, but fight Killer Wasp on Aeos.

Strategy:

For these BTs, you must defeat the enemy by using a specific ability. You
can use other abilities as well, but the final blow that defeats the enemy
must be the specific art (Exception being Sarah-021, and Lymle-016 in
which case you must only use that single art and nothing else by any other
     characters).

        Edge-077: Defeat 100 poisoned enemies
       Reimi-030: Defeat a paralyzed enemy
       Reimi-079: Defeat 100 paralyzed enemies
       Faize-032: Defeat a frozen enemy
       Lymle-021: Defeat a silenced enemy
       Lymle-085: Defeat 100 silenced enemies
Bacchus-019: Defeat an enemy while in fog status
Bacchus-072: Defeat 100 enemies while in fog status
     Meracle-065: Defeat a pumpkined enemy
       Sarah-034: Defeat a frozen enemy
      Myuria-019: Defeat a frozen enemy
      Myuria-086: Defeat 100 frozen enemies
      Arumat-027: Defeat a cursed enemy
      Arumat-077: Defeat 100 cursed enemies

Strategy:

The best method to get these is to have a single weapon with a bunch
of status effects on it, as well as a very very low ATK in a team
colosseum battle (Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! works well). It is also good to have
     a 4ATK accessory on.

For silenced enemies, have Lymle cast silence until they are mostly
silenced, and then kill them with Lymle. Keep repeating this process
until she has defeated 100 enemies (If you silence them all, it will take
     15 battles).

For the frozen enemies, I used the frozen bombs given to you for free from
the Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! battle after they were all on one character. Two
or Three per bomb would freeze, at which time Sarah can get her one kill
     or Myuria get her kills.

Meracle-025: Defeat an enemy while in Berserk status
Myuria-018: Defeat an enemy while in Berserk status
Arumat-012: Defeat an enemy while in Berserk status

Strategy:

Put the player in Berserk mode either by using the skill or drinking a
potion. Once you are in this status, defeat an enemy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Defeating enemies within certain parameters
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... <1 minute
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 4

Special conditions of these trophies:

     MC must land killing blow.

BTs that apply to this type:

Bacchus-020: Defeat 30 enemies without being knocked down
Bacchus-041: Defeat 100 enemies without being knocked down
Bacchus-060: Defeat 32 consecutive enemies without being knocked down
Bacchus-079: Defeat 64 consecutive enemies without being knocked down
Bacchus-099: Defeat 128 consecutive enemies without being knocked down

Strategy:

Defeat enemies without them knocking you down. Very simple. Make sure
you get Bacchus-099 while doing this and you'll be done with the set.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Defeating different enemy types
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Difficult
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... Wide Variance
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 130

Special conditions of these trophies:

Faize must be MC and land the killing blow.

BTs that apply to this type:

Faize-001: Defeat 10 types of enemies
Faize-021: Defeat 20 types of enemies
Faize-043: Defeat 40 types of enemies
Faize-064: Defeat 60 types of enemies
Faize-081: Defeat 50 consecutive enemies of the same type
Faize-084: Defeat 100 types of enemies
Faize-092: Defeat 130 types of enemies

Strategy:

The "types" of enemies these BTs refer to are the actual entries in the
     monster collection.

This one can be difficult if you do not play Faize as the MC through the
one-time only areas (Cardianon Mothership/Alternate Earth).

There are 154 total enemies in the game, of which 24 are bosses. This
means that if you remove the bosses from the mix, there are 130 total
non-boss enemies in the game. Faize must land a killing blow on at least
130 of the 154 enemies available.

The easiest way to obtain this is to play Faize as much as possible, and
make sure he gets at least one killing blow of every single enemy type in
the Cardianon Mothership as well as Alternate Earth. It is also a good
idea that Faize get a kill shot from the boss of Cardianon Mothership.

Some of the enemies such as the Grigori in the 7SD are not listed in the
monster collection, and therefore DO NOT count as a type of enemy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Defeating own shadow
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... Wide Variance
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 9

Special conditions of these trophies:

When you defeat a shadow of the player, that player must be the MC and
     must land the killing blow.

BTs that apply to this type:

        Edge-097: Defeat own shadow
       Reimi-100: Defeat own shadow
       Faize-098: Defeat own shadow
       Lymle-097: Defeat own shadow
     Bacchus-090: Defeat own shadow
     Meracle-098: Defeat own shadow
       Sarah-096: Defeat own shadow
      Myuria-094: Defeat own shadow
      Arumat-088: Defeat own shadow

Strategy:

These are easy, but just time consuming especially if you are leaving
Faize for last since his shadow is near the end of the WD.

Each player must defeat their respective shadow while being MC. If a
shadow gets killed by another then no BT will be awarded. Don't make
this mistake for Faize's shadow or else you will have to repeat 18
     floors of the WD again.

Shadow strategy is easy as you can see each shadows HP. Just make sure
that you kill them properly, everything else is easy.

The location for the shadows are as follows:

          - Edge ...... WD 16F
          - Reimi ..... 7SD 5F
          - Faize ..... WD 18F
          - Lymle ..... WD 18F
          - Bacchus ... WD 16F
          - Meracle ... WD 18F
          - Sarah ..... 7SD 5F
          - Myuria .... WD 16F
          - Arumat .... 7SD 5F

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Rush Mode related
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... Wide Variance
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 1

Special conditions of these trophies:

You must be in Rush Mode to meet condition of these BTs without it
     wearing off.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-012: Land 20 hits during Rush Mode
Edge-024: Stay in Rush Mode for 20 seconds
Edge-056: Lands 50 hits during Rush Mode
Edge-067: Stay in Rush Mode for 30 seconds

Bacchus-100: Stay in Rush Mode for 120 seconds
Meracle-013: Land 25 hits during Rush Mode
Meracle-015: Land 20 critical hits during Rush Mode
Meracle-058: Land 55 hits during Rush Mode
Meracle-096: Land 120 hits during Rush Mode
Myuria-008: Activate Rush Mode 30 times
Myuria-030: Activate Rush Mode 60 times
Myuria-052: Activate Rush Mode 99 times
Myuria-073: Activate Rush Mode 150 times
Myuria-093: Activate Rush Mode 255 times
Arumat-020: Defeat an enemy in Rush Mode

Strategy:

The number one thing that is absolutely necessary for these BTs is to
have BEAT B at Rank 20! Without that, most of these BTs are not
     obtainable.

To obtain the "Land ## hits" BTs, have a 4ATK accessory equipped, and
these are trivial - in fact these are the only ones largely obtainable
without any BEAT B ranks (except for Reimi).

To obtain the "critical hits" BTs, try to synth an accessory with a few
bonus to critical hit factors. That will make these much easier.

To stay in Rush Mode for a specific amount of time, you must be BEAT B
rank 20, and set yourself up to be attacked by enemies. You can easily
get these in the Phantom Ambush, but anywhere there are several enemies
     will work.

For Arumat, he only needs to defeat one enemy while he is in Rush Mode.

For the activating Rush Mode, this is only by pressing X - you do not
need to activate Rush Combo mode (with the black hole thingy in the
     background).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Absorb ## HP/MP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Very Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 1 hour
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

Nothing special, other than you need to be MC to get BT.

BTs that apply to this type:

      Reimi-053: Absorb a total of 5,000 MP
      Reimi-069: Absorb a total of 20,000 MP
      Reimi-087: Absorb a total of 30,000 MP
      Sarah-006: Absorb a total of 3,000 HP
      Sarah-016: Absorb a total of 4,000 HP
      Sarah-029: Absorb a total of 5,000 HP
      Sarah-032: Absorb a total of 200 MP
      Sarah-042: Absorb a total of 8,000 HP
      Sarah-046: Absorb a total of 1,000 MP
      Sarah-053: Absorb a total of 12,000 HP
      Sarah-056: Absorb a total of 5,000 MP
      Sarah-063: Absorb a total of 20,000 HP
      Sarah-067: Absorb a total of 10,000 MP
      Sarah-075: Absorb a total of 30,000 HP
      Sarah-078: Absorb a total of 30,000 MP
      Sarah-084: Absorb a total of 50,000 HP
      Sarah-087: Absorb a total of 50,000 MP
      Sarah-095: Absorb a total of 99,999 MP
     Myuria-004: Absorb a total of 200 MP
     Myuria-013: Absorb a total of 1,000 MP
     Myuria-025: Absorb a total of 5,000 MP
     Myuria-036: Absorb a total of 10,000 MP
     Myuria-046: Absorb a total of 30,000 MP
     Myuria-055: Absorb a total of 50,000 MP
     Myuria-066: Absorb a total of 70,000 MP
     Myuria-079: Absorb a total of 99,999 MP

Strategy:

These are some of the easiest BTs in the entire game, and for Sarah they
are the bulk of her BTs.

You can wait until you have Arumat/Faize's "Duplication" ability and synth
one HP absorbtion unit and Dupe it 19 times, or farm some tri-Emblums and
create them via Synthesis. I recommend the dupe method as clays are much
     easier to get than tri-Emblums.

For all of the MP absorb BTs, you only need either Edge's Symbolic Weapon,
a Vile Goop, or in Muyrias case, just attack with a staff.

With Symbolic Weapon enabled on a player, just attack the enemy to absorb
MP. For Myuria, attack with close-quarters attacks repeatedly.

For Sarah's Absorb HP BTs, I recommend you wait until she is higher
level and you are fighting difficult enemies. Then just use the HP
Absorbtion units one by one. Do not use them all - make sure you have 1
left so you can duplicate it as you need more than 20 to get all of the
     BTs for her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Absorb element
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Very Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 1 hour

Special conditions of these trophies:

Nothing special, other than you need to be MC to get BT.

BTs that apply to this type:

      Faize-073: Absorb an earth-based attack
      Faize-077: Absorb a water-based attack
      Faize-083: Absorb a darkness-based attack
      Lymle-036: Absorb a fire-based attack.
      Lymle-048: Absorb a thunder-based attack
      Lymle-056: Absorb a wind-based attack
      Sarah-022: Absorb a wind-based attack
      Sarah-025: Absorb a light-based attack.
      Sarah-037: Absorb a thunder-based attack
     Myuria-043: Absorb a thunder-based attack
     Myuria-062: Absorb a water-based attack
     Myuria-071: Absorb a darkness-based attack

Strategy:

Synth two laser suits, and then synth the following on each one:

          Suit #1:

               - Absorb earth-based damage
               - Absorb water-based damage
               - Absorb thunder-based damage
               - Absorb darkness-based damage

          Suit #2:

               - Absorb fire-based damage
               - Absorb light-based damage
               - Absorb wind-based damage

The following enemies will attack you with the above elements. Equip
the approporate piece of armor to get the BT once you absorb the attack.

          Earth:

               Arch Spellmaster [WD 6F+]
               Master Wizard [EN II Sanctuary]

          Thunder:

               Psynards [EN II Sanctuary]

          Light:

               Ring Beast [WD 4F]

          Wind:

               Perytons [Roak and Later]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Performing actions in specific time
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Moderate
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... Technically 15+ hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

You must perform certain actions for a specific length of time or
exactly at a certain time. Myuria's BTs can accrue even if she is not
the MC. Bacchus needs to be MC at the end of battle for all of his BTs.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-019: Fight as battle leader for 60 minutes

Reimi-033: Defeat an enemy in exactly one minute
Reimi-075: Defeat an enemy in exactly three minutes
Faize-018: Use Antidote within five seconds of poisoning
Faize-057: Stay in Berserk status for two minutes
Faize-070: Use Antidote within one second of poisoning
Faize-087: Stay in Berserk status for five minutes

Meracle-006: Fight a single battle for 5 minutes
Meracle-046: Fight a single battle for 10 minutes
Meracle-090: Fight a single battle for 15 minutes
Sarah-071: Use Restoration within one second of incapacitation
Myuria-007: Fight for over one hour in total
Myuria-017: Fight for over two hours in total
Myuria-029: Fight for over three hours in total
Myuria-040: Fight for over four hours in total
Myuria-051: Fight for over five hours in total
Myuria-060: Fight for over six hours in total
Myuria-072: Fight for over seven hours in total
Myuria-084: Fight for over eight hours in total
Myuria-092: Fight for over nine hours in total
Myuria-099: Fight for over 10 hours in total
Arumat-019: Stay in Berserk status for two minutes
Arumat-049: Stay in Berserk status for five minutes
Arumat-070: Fight as battle leader for 120 minutes

Strategy:

Lots of easy BTs here. I recommend you use a stopwatch for these BTs.

Edge must be MC for at least 180 minutes.

Reimi must defeat an enemy (NOT the entire battle!) in that exact amount
of time. She can get both BTs in one battle by defeating one enemy one
minute into the battle and another enemy two minutes afterward (three
     minutes into battle).

Faize must use Pickled Pepper Potions to stay in Berserk status for 5
minutes. I recommend at least 6 potions, unless you're a master at time.
For curing poison, its best that you start casting antidote with Faize on
another character, and then immediately switch to that character and use
a poison cider and switch back to Faize ASAP. With proper timing, you
     will get both BTs.

For Lymle to keep the Rush Gauge maxed out, you just need to charge the
Rush Gauge and keep tapping the Rush Gauge charge button once she is at
100 without actually going into Rush Mode. If it hits 99, the timer
     restarts.

Bacchus has a lot of easy ones here - just win a battle with Bacchus as MC
in under 10 seconds and you will get most of them in one battle. After
that, you need a stopwatch. Start timer right when you can start moving
and kill the enemy exactly when needed.

Meracle just needs to be MC for 15 minutes in a single battle to get all
     3 BTs.

For Sarah, start casting Restoration on another player and switch to them
immediately. Use an SD3K on them, and switch back to Sarah before she
     is finished casting.

Myuria just needs to be in the active party to get time credited toward
these BTs. She must be MC for the BT to actually award, however.

Arumat must be MC for at least 120 minutes. Also, he should use his
Berserk skill to stay in Berserk mode for 5 minutes in a row without it
     dropping.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Use abilities ## times (including in specific circumstances)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 1 hour (Not counting WD/7SD time)
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

You must use specific abilities a certain amount of times, or those
abilities must trigger a certain amount of time. You must be MC
in order to earn these trophies. The AI cannot earn these BTs
     for you.

BTs that apply to this type:

       Faize-019: Scan 10 enemies
       Lymle-020: Hide 20 times
       Lymle-044: Hide 50 times
       Lymle-074: Hide 100 times
Lymle-027: Use Energy Shield twice in a row
Lymle-049: Use Energy Shield three times in a row
Lymle-076: Use Energy Shield four times in a row
Bacchus-009: Use Emergency Repairs 16 times
Bacchus-030: Use Emergency Repairs 32 times
Bacchus-059: Use Emergency Repairs 64 times
Bacchus-078: Use Emergency Repairs 256 times
Sarah-003: Escape from battle 20 times
Sarah-013: Escape from battle 40 times
Sarah-023: Escape from battle 60 times
Sarah-033: Escape from battle 100 times
Sarah-047: Escape from battle 10 times in a row
Sarah-057: Escape from battle 20 times in a row
Sarah-068: Escape from battle 30 times in a row
Myuria-065: Recover HP with First Aid twice in a row
      Arumat-001: Use Taunt 20 times
      Arumat-033: Use Taunt 100 times
      Arumat-063: Use Taunt 200 times
      Arumat-092: Use Taunt 300 times
Arumat-094: Use Taunt on Gabriel Celeste 10 times
Arumat-097: Use Taunt on the Ethereal Queen 10 times

Strategy:

Myuria and Lymle need to have First Aid and Energy Shield equipped
respectively. In order for these skills to fire off in battle, they must
get hit. I would recommend you take off all your armor and weapons and
allow fairly easy enemies to attack you while you are running into a
corner. The Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! colosseum battle is good for these BTs.
Lymle's BTs can take awhile, but they will happen eventually. Myuria's
     BT should occur fairly quickly.

Bacchus must manually use Emergency Repairs 256 times.

Lymle must manually use Hide 100 times.

Faize must use "Enemy Scan" 10 times on 10 different enemies.

Sarah just needs to escape from battles, at least 30 in a row in the
process. Equipping Elusion makes this faster.

Arumat must use Taunt 300 times, however he must also taunt Gabriel
Celeste and the Etherial Queen 10 times each. Don't forget to do the
     Etherial Queen taunts!!

Arumat-087: Win with 1 HP remaining
Arumat-099: Win 100 consecutive battles without healing

Strategy:

Lots of strategies for these BTs, but they are all easy.

For Edge-013 just unequip everything, and let your other party members
win the battle while you stand there as MC.

For the win without being targeted BT, you need to be MC at the end of the
battle but cannot be targeted during the fight. You can either use an
otherworldly cuisine, or just control the character from the start and
run away from the battle allowing the AI to pick up the enemies with
     the other characters.

For the win without ever moving BT, you need to be MC at the start of
the battle all the way until the end. You can be targeted, but you
cannot actually be hit. You must not move at all, or perform any action.
This is the same as winning without any player-controlled actions.

For the win with Rush Gauge maxed out, just keep your Rush Gauge at 100
while the AI finishes off the other enemies.

Winning battles without using MP should be self explanatory, just use
normal attacks. Conversely, make sure you use MP with Myuria for 100
consecutive battles. I'd recommend the battle colosseum solo battles for
     that.

To win while poisoned or pumpkined use a poison cider or pumpkin cider
respectively to go into that status effect, and keep that character as MC
while the AI finishes the battle.

To win with 0 or 1 MP remaining, you just need to deplete MP as best you
can. You can use a cursed cider if you have a lot of MP, though you
should try to get these as early as possible as its much easier at that
     time.

Landing the battle winning blow means that person has to land the final
attack that would end the battle, and must be the MC when it happens.

To win without standing still, get in a battle and before it starts, you
must just keep moving. Running against a wall or getting hit WILL NOT
allow you to get this BT, so just run crazy in circles around all the
action until the AI finishes the battle for you.

To win in the middle of casting a symbol, start casting as the AI finishes
the battle. The symbol must not finish casting when the battle is over,
but you must be in the process of casting.

To win battles in a row without taking damage, you just need to let the AI
finish the battle for you, while you are MC the entire time.

To win without healing, that means absolutely no healing at all, including
purple gems on the bonus board. It also means you cannot use MP heals.

To allow all enemies to escape from battle, get in a battle of scumbags
and just set everyone to manual while you have Arumat as MC.

To win battles without item drops, fight colosseum solo battles.

To win with 1-5 HP remaining, you need to do the following:

          1. Use a DANGER! DO NOT DRINK! to get to 1 HP. Win battle while MC.
          2. Equip Auto-Healing Rank 10 and allow it to go off one time.
          3. Unequip Auto-Healing Rank 10 and drink a poison cider. Let it
drain your HP until you have 2 HP left.
          4. Win battle while MC.
          5. Repeat steps 2-4 until you have all 5 BTs.

BT Type: Surviving Ambushes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 45 minutes
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 120

Special conditions of these trophies:

     Varies. Read the strategy carefully!

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-018: Survive three ambushes in one battle
Edge-041: Survive four ambushes in one battle
Edge-064: Survive five ambushes in one battle
Edge-073: Survive six ambushes in one battle

Strategy:

For starters, you can only get one of these BTs per battle. When you are
on Aeos after the base has been destroyed, you fight more insect enemies
that are much harder than the ones at the beginning of the game.
Eventually you will come across a save point and a refresh point right
next to each other. You absolutely must SAVE YOUR GAME HERE, and refresh
at the refresh point, and make sure that Edge is in the party, but is NOT
the MC. Start the fight by moving forward. Defeat the first set of
phantoms, and then after the FIRST "Ambushed!" message appears, switch to
Edge as the MC. Use Edge for the rest of the battle - do not switch from
him at any time. At the end of the battle, you should receive the six
ambush BT. After the cutscenes, go back and

         >> SAVE YOUR GAME IN A DIFFERENT SLOT THAN YOUR PREVIOUS SAVE <<

If you overwrite your old save, you're screwed. After the save, reload
your original game before the phantom fight. Start the fight again
without Edge as MC. After the SECOND "Ambushed!" message, switch to Edge
and use him for the rest of the fight. You should receive the five
ambush BT for this. Save your game in that different slot again
(DONT OVERWRITE YOUR PRE-PHANTOM SAVE!) and reload the game again. Repeat
the process again but switch to Edge after the 3rd "Ambushed!" message to
get the four ambush BT, and lastly repeat the process a final time and
switch to Edge after the 4th "Ambushed!" message to get the three
     ambush BT.

BT Type: Bonus Board related
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 45 minutes
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 25

Special conditions of these trophies:

     Nothing special.

BTs that apply to this type:

Faize-008: Get three Bonus Board tiles in one battle
Faize-038: Get four Bonus Board tiles in one battle
Faize-068: Get five bonus board tiles in one battle
Faize-090: Get eight Bonus Board tiles in one battle
Lymle-002: Obtain a Bonus Board tile
Meracle-017: Earn 10 consecutive Bonus Board bonuses
Meracle-037: Earn 20 consecutive Bonus Board bonuses
Meracle-085: Earn 40 consecutive Bonus Board bonuses
Meracle-060: Earn 30 consecutive Bonus Board bonuses
Meracle-097: Earn 50 consecutive Bonus Board bonuses

Strategy:

Faize can get all eight bonus board tiles by using a Plasma Cyclone +
symbol card in the Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! colosseum team battle.

Lymle just needs to earn a single tile, something she should be able
to do when she is still level 1.

Meracle must get an effect from the bonus board 50 times. For example,
make sure there are some pink tiles on the board, and Meracle is MC. At
the end of the fight, the "heal' from the pink tiles is a Bonus Board
bonus that Meracle will be credited with. You need to fight 50 battles
consecutively while Meracle is getting this bonus.

Sarah-091: Strike three enemies with Aurora Rings
Myuria-024: Strike three enemies with Lightning Blast
Arumat-050: Land eight hits with Stone Rain

Strategy:

Wow, lots and lots of BTs here! And they are all very very easy!
I love easy BTs, don't you?

For starters, you should have a 4ATK accessory equipped while getting
     nearly all of these BTs.

Unassisted hits are hits that you land consecutively without anyone else
landing hits. In other words, set everyone to manual and control the MC.

Hits from the front are just that -- hits that you land while you're
facing the enemy and he is facing you.

Long-Range attacks are regular non-skill attacks that you land from long
range. To land them consecutively, you CANNOT MISS. Even with the
requirement to not miss attacks, these are pretty easy to get.

To land critical hits in a row, just blindside the enemy and attack 1 or
2 times, and do not attack again until you've blindsided the enemy again.

To land a critical hit from behind, you just need to blindside the enemy
     and attack.

To land a critical hit on an enemy's weak point, you need to attack the
special area of a boss that shows a weak point. For example the tail of
Aramos Manifest in the Miga Insect Warren/WD 10F.

To stab enemies with a rapier, that is the animation where Faize screams
AHHHH! and practically shoots his rapier out landing a bunch of hits.
This is done like a close-quarters attack where you are pointing the
direction stick toward the enemy and pressing the normal attack button.

Striking or landing a specific number of hits with specific abilities
should be self explanatory - just observe the difference between landing
a certain number of hits with a certain ability versus landing a hit
on a certain number of enemies with a certain ability.

Make sure you have a Cloudy Cider for Bacchus-053. Bacchus needs to be
the one to land the hit in this case.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Healing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Hard
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 1 hour
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be the healer, however the person you are healing does not have
     to be the MC.

BTs that apply to this type:

Edge-023: Recover HP to the exact maximum capacity
Meracle-014: Recover HP with items 20 times in a row
Meracle-047: Recover HP with items 30 times in a row
       Sarah-001: Recover exactly 777 HP
Sarah-041: Use 10 healing symbols in one battle
Sarah-043: Cast Faerie Heal on an entire party with critical HP
       Sarah-044: Recover exactly 7,777 HP
       Sarah-086: Recover exactly 77,777 HP
Myuria-023: Recover HP to the exact maximum capacity
Myuria-057: Cast Faerie Heal on an entire party with critical HP

Strategy:

While I marked these as Hard, they are in fact very easy. However,
without a guide, these are extremely hard to figure out on your own.
I would recommend saving the game before doing this, get the BTs,
save in a different slot, and reload the original game as there are
a lot of items used in Synthesis including one you cannot get again.

First, we'll cover the easy four BTs starting with Recovering HP to the
exact max capacity. There are two easy methods to do this.

          Method 1
          --------
Kill off a party member and revive them with a 60% HP revive.
Make them lose 100hp, and then cast the heal on them for the BT.

          Method 2
          --------
You need Rank 10 Healing which will heal for 40% HP
(Plus 100hp). To set up for this BT, all you need
to do is take a piece of armor with one or 0 no factors,
          and:

               - Synth one Ruby (HP -300)
               - Synth one HP Absorption Unit (HP +200)

And on an accessory of your choice:

               - Synth two Magick Emblem (2x HP -20%)

Fill your HP, and unequip all your gear. During battle,
put the armor on. After you put them on, take them right
back off. Heal with Edge and/or Myuria with Rank 10
Healing, and you will receive the BT.

The other easy BT is Meracles. Just recover HP by using items. Keep in
mind that you actually have to recover some HP when using items, so you
might consider drinking a Poison Cider before hand.

The next easy BT is Sarah-041. Use 10 healing symbols in one battle.
That is easy. Just heal someone 10 times, and you're done!

The final easy BT are the two "Faerie Heal entire party with Critical HP".
You can do this by just using four DANGER! DO NOT DRINK! items while
fighting a very very easy enemy. Then quickly case Faerie heal while
     leaving healer as the MC.

And now, lets cover the harder BTs:

For starters, Edge, Reimi, and Sarah ALL must be level 255.
Also, you should not have ever used Health Seeds on Edge,
Reimi, or Sarah through the entire game. If you did, then
you cannot get this BT by this method.

For obtaining 777 BT, Sarah must have 1,933 HP. To do this,
equip BEAT B Rank 20, and do the following:

               On armor usable by Sarah:

                    - Synth one Silver Chalice (1x HP +3%)
                    - Synth two Magick Emblem (2x HP -30X)

               On an accessory:

                    - Synth two Magick Emblem (2x HP -20%)

               On a wrist:

                    - Synth two Healing Paint (2x HP +20)

For obtaining 7,777 BT, Reimi must have 21,934 HP. To do this,
equip BEAT S Rank 20, and do the following:

On a weapon usable by Reimi:

                    - Synth one Spriggan Monster Jewel (1x HP -50%)

               On armor usable by Reimi:

                    - Synth one Health Seeds (1x HP +10%)
                    - Synth one Ruby (1x HP -300)

               On Accessory:

                    - Synth one Magick Emblem (1x HP -20%)

For obtaining 77,777 BT, Edge must have 95,971 HP. To do this,
equip BEAT B Rank 20, and do the following:

               On armor usable by Edge:

                    - Synth one Star Ruby (1x HP -800)
                    - Synth one Potent Health Seeds (1x HP +20%)

               On Accessory:

                    - Synth one Star Ruby (1x HP -500)

Once you have completed all of the above synthing, get into a battle with
Edge, Reimi, and Sarah with all of the above synthed gear equipped.

Using Sarah, cast Faerie Healing Level 10. You will receive the 777 and
7,777 HP BT. After that, cast Healing Ex on Edge and you will receive
     the 77,777 HP BT.

Strategy:

Make sure you have a few (5 is enough) Fainting Potions. Enter a battle
with a lot of enemies such as hornets with Reimi, and other party members
(but not Bacchus, or Myuria). Use an SD3K to kill everyone off except
Reimi. Use a Fainting Potion. You should get all of the BTs for Reimi.
After the Fainting Potion wears off, replace her with Bacchus and repeat
the process. Finally, swap Bacchus out for Myuria and repeat that process
     one last time.

Sarah-098: Revive in incapacitated ally 999 times
Myuria-076: Survive incapacitation via Fury 10 times in a row

Strategy:

First, we will create a set of "Fury Gear" which will be used by Reimi,
     Meracle, and Myuria ONLY.

Synth a Laser Suit with the following factors:

          - 4x Green Talisman (Increase chance of surviving incap via fury)

Also synth an accessory of your choice with the following factors:

          - 3x Green Talisman (Increase chance of surviving incap via fury)

     And lastly, IC the following:

          - 20x SD3K

If available, equip "Fury Boost" skill at Rank 10. Equip the synthed gear
on Reimi. Enter a battle with Arumat, Reimi, Myuria, and Meracle. Defeat
all enemies except one and keep it busy on Arumat or another party member.
With everyone set to manual and Reimi as MC, repeat the following
     twenty times:

          1. Use 1 SD3K - She should Fury.
          2. Use Myuria to Heal Reimi.

Win battle, and go back and IC 20 more SD3Ks. Repeat the above until
Reimi has all the above BTs. Then, repeat the process for Meracle keeping
in mind to equip the "Fury Gear". Lastly, repeat the process for Myuria
needing to only use 10 SD3Ks in that case.

After all of that is said and done, you need to kill Lymle any way you
can. Put her in your party and make her MC. Take out all your rage on
her. It doesn't matter how she dies, she just needs to 100 times while
shes the MC. After that, you need to kill off Sarah over and over again
     until you get Sarah-070.

The final set of BTs - leading up to Sarah-098, are very time consuming
and why this section is rated as Hard. You need to synth a Sarah usable
     weapon with the following:

          - 1x Pickled Pepper Potion (Attacks damage allies as well)

You also need to make sure you have one Cloudy cider available, and a
way to paralyze an enemy without killing it (Such as synthing a weapon
with "Attacks cause paralyze status" factor). Take off all gear from all
party members except Sarah. Once you have all of that done, manually
control everyone and enter a battle and kill off all enemies except one,
and paralyze that last enemy. Once you have done that walk away from the
paralyzed enemy, and line up everyone execution style. Have Sarah use a
cloudy cider on herself. Now that she is fogged, she cannot see and thus
will attack whereever you press your attack button. Because your attacks
damage allies -- have at it! Start killing your allies, and once the
three are dead, cast Restoration to revive them with low HP. Kill them
again. Continually repeat this process over and over again until you have
     earned the Sarah-098 BT.

Reimi-044: Avoid status ailments five times in a row
Reimi-057: Recover from poison 99 times

     Faize-010: Cure a poisoned ally
     Sarah-009: Cure a paralyzed ally
     Sarah-019: Cure a poisoned ally
     Sarah-027: Cure a silenced ally
     Sarah-039: Cure a cursed ally
     Sarah-051: Cure a pumpkined ally
     Sarah-061: Cure a frozen ally
Sarah-072: Cure stun status with a symbol

Strategy:

Lots, and lots, and lots of ciders necessary here. This is a lot easier
if you have the Li'l Vending Machine No. 2 available in your ship. Buy
     every single cider you can.

Reimi's BTs are very self-explanatory. You need to use the cider
to put yourself in that condition, and then use Sarah to use the
Cure Condition skill on you. The fastest way to do this is to do these
     steps in order:

           1. Buy 20 of all ciders from ship vending machine.
           2. Get in battle on EN II.
           3. Use Poison Cider on Reimi.
           4. Use Cursed Cider on Reimi.
           5. Use Cloudy Cider on Reimi. Get Reimi-067.
           6. Use Silent Cider on Reimi. Get Reimi-090.
           7. Use Cure Condition skill from Sarah to Reimi and leave Sarah MC
so she can get 4 BTs.
           8. Use Static Cider on Reimi.
           9. Use Cure Condition skill from Sarah to Reimi and leave Sarah MC
              so she can get Sarah-009.
          10. Use Frozen Cider on Reimi.
          11. Use Cure Condition skill from Sarah to Reimi and leave Sarah MC
              so she can get Sarah-061.
          12. Use Pumpkin Cider on Reimi.
          13. Use Cure Condition skill from Sarah to Reimi and leave Sarah MC
              so she can get Sarah-051.
          14. Use Poison, Cursed, and Static Ciders on Reimi in that order.
          15. Switch to Sarah and case Cure Condition, and immediately switch
back to Reimi as MC when Cure Condition lands.
          16. Repeat step 14-15 99 times, replenishing Ciders as needed.

In order for Reimi to avoid a status ailment, just equip something like
an anti-poison amulet and then attempt to use five Poison Ciders on
     Reimi while shes the MC.

Use a Poison Cider on someone and let Faize cast Antidote so he can get
     Faize-010.

For Sarah-072 -- this one is tricky. You CANNOT use a fainting potion
for this BT, as Cure Condition doesn't cure it. I got it by just
casting Cure Condition over and over while enemies were attacking me,
but you can also try to blindside a mandragora outside of the purgatorium.
They will perform a crying attack which stuns often. You can time this so
that Sarah will be casting Cure Condition.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Guarding
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Very Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 15 minutes

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be in control when guarding.

BTs that apply to this type:

Bacchus-002: Guard against five consecutive attacks
Bacchus-012: Guard against eight consecutive attacks
Bacchus-033: Guard against 11 consecutive attacks
Bacchus-052: Guard against 14 consecutive attacks
Bacchus-071: Guard against 17 consecutive attacks
Bacchus-092: Guard against 20 consecutive attacks
Arumat-054: Guard against 15 consecutive attacks
Arumat-078: Guard against 20 consecutive attacks
Arumat-084: Guard against 30 consecutive attacks

Strategy:

In order to guard, you must not move or be performing any action. Just
stand there and let easy enemies like the bugs on Aeos attack you. You
should guard against all of their attacks, obtaining all of these
     BTs in the process.

       Sarah-035: Jump 777 times
Sarah-045: Spend a total of 30 minutes airborne
       Sarah-048: Jump 1,000 times
       Sarah-058: Jump 1,500 times

       Sarah-069: Jump 2,000 times
       Sarah-080: Jump 3,333 times
       Sarah-089: Jump 4,444 times
Sarah-092: Spend a total of 90 minutes airborne
       Sarah-097: Jump 5,555 times

Strategy:

These.... are boring. For Edge, you need to use Mystic Cross and Raging
Strike over and over again as he jumps very high during these attacks.

For Lymle, its best if you fight mandragoras like the ones near the
entrance to the Purgatorium on Roak. allow the enemies to attack you and
start rolling against a wall. They will keep trying to attack you while
you are rolling against a wall not moving. Occasionally they will hit you
and knock you down, but you will recover and keep rolling. You will need
to hold the directional pad toward the wall and hold down the B button.
You should be able to get all of Lymles BTs except the roll 10km this way.
To get her 10km BT, it just takes a LOT of patience. You need to roll
around the battle area, and not just against the wall. While you could
employ an automated method to this (such as resting a hammer on the
directional bad, and a weight on the B button), it will still take a long
time to get the 10km BT, as the only time you will get credit for
rolling "forward" is when you get knocked down by an enemy and you roll
a tiny bit to get back to the wall. Your choice. Doing it manually is
faster but very tedious. Running 1km in battle is easy, just run around
for awhile. That one should come naturally.

Faize goes airborne by jumping, but also by blindsiding.

Meracle should use several airborne abilities like Acrobatic Vault in
order to be airborne 60 minutes. For her to jump 55 times in a row, just
start doing cartwheels all around the battlefield for about 1-2 minutes
and she will get that BT. 42.195km in battle will take awhile for her
but keep running! You will get it eventually.

Sarah's BTs are more tedious! Definately go up against a wall and
keep jumping on it. You can do the same method described above for Lymle
and use a hammer and a weight to keep the directional pad pushed while the
     B button is used.

Keep in mind if you use these methods, you need to have your controller
wired or it will automatically turn off.

     Meracle-053: Steal armor
     Meracle-061: Steal successfully 50 times
     Meracle-069: Steal a Weapon

Strategy:

Recommend a 4ATK accessory and Steal skill equipped at Rank 10. Get into
a fight and start stealing by performing close quarters attacks. Meracle
must be targeting an enemy that is also targeting her and then perform a
frontal close quarters attack for the steal to (possibly) work.

You can steal the specific items from the following:

Food: Undead in Alanare Citadel [Have Lymle in party]

Myuria-054: Freeze two enemies with Deep Freeze
Myuria-089: Freeze three enemies with Deep Freeze

Strategy:

First things first. As you can see, the bulk of Faize's BTs are by doing
specific things to enemies. We will go over all of these in groups just
     like previous sections.

Interrupting enemy casting is very easy to do. I'd recommend using
Reimi's Crimson Wings skill with a 2xSS against Perytons that love to
chain cast Tornado. You can get all 500 interrupts fairly quickly this
     method.

You can make any enemy weak to an element by casting Sacred Pain at
at least one time on it. With Sacred Pain on the enemy, you can then
cast the symbol you are getting a BT for.

Faize reducing enemy HP BTs are very very easy to get. You should
MC Faize at the start of the game, and earn most of them automatically.
If you do not, you can always synth a 2xSS and use that to do 1 damage
often and potentially get all 7 of those BTs at once.

To get Faize to blindside multiple enemies at once - you will need some
luck, and BEAT S at rank 17. Fight something with a lot of enemies such
as Kobakiel and his spawn, or a colosseum battle with lots of enemies.
While a lot of enemies are attacking you (at least six), blindside one
of them and hopefully you will blindside the rest in which case you will
     receive Faize-094 BT.

Stun seven enemies in a row BT can be obtained by stunning an enemy with
a stun bomb, and then if successful, save your game. Do it again, with
each success saving your game and loading it if you are not successful
when stunning. Because of this, it is most convienient to do this at
the colosseum when fighting a solo battle and using the free stun
bomb. If you do not and instead fight multiple enemies, then only the
enemy that you are actually targeting when you use the bomb will count.
In other words, if you use a bomb and it doesn't stun a targeted enemy,
but will stun another one in its vicinity it will not count and the timer
     resets to 0.

Faize can freeze an enemy with Ice Needles by just spamming the ability
at enemies. Eventually he will freeze one.

Lymle's "Make a mandragora cry" is probably one of the most mis-leading
and most confusing BTs in the entire list until someone figured it
out. In order to make a mandragora cry, you first need to fight one
so head to near the purgatorium entrance and get in an encounter with
one. While Lymle is MC let a mandragora hit you. Then, blindside it.
The mandragora will go into a funny animation and about 2 seconds after
that, attack it with a close-range melee attack (don't kill it). When you
attack it, it will let out a cry, and the BT will be yours.

To silence enemies in a row, you need to use the same method as Faize stun
above - silence an enemy, save. Rinse and repeat until you get 10 enemies
     silenced in a row.

To prevent an enemy from escaping battle, you need to fight an enemy that
will escape first - so enter a battle with scumbags. Run close to one of
them with Meracle and lock on to it. Stay really close to it. When it
looks to get ready to do its run animation, start an attack. If you land
an attack while its in its escape animation, you will get the BT.

To hit a halling enemy with Claws of Fury, you need a little bit of luck.
Meracle needs to be attacking with Claws of Fury, and an enemy needs to
fall on her while shes doing the Claws of Fury attack. I did this by
using Edge to Mystic Cross an enemy, and switching to Meracle right where
the enemy would land and start a Claws of Fury attack there.

Freezing enemies with Deep Freeze is very easy - just go into the Bugs,
Bugs, Bugs! team colosseum battle with Myuria as MC and when the bugs
bunch up and attack someone, just cast deep freeze in the middle of all
of them several times. Eventually you will freeze three in one shot.
If the bugs die too easily, then just fight something that can be
frozen and come in large numbers so you have a higher chance of freezing
     them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Money (Fol) related
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 2 hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... Technically 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be in control when recovering (or failing to recover) stolen Fol.
Earning Fol counts even if you are not the MC.

BTs that apply to this type:

Faize-058: Fail to recover stolen Fol
       Lymle-019: Earn a total of 10,000 Fol
       Lymle-068: Earn a total of 100,000 Fol
       Lymle-092: Earn a total of 1,000,000 Fol
     Meracle-059: Recover stolen Fol

Strategy:

Very easy BTs here. To fail to recover stolen Fol, just let a scumbag
steal from Faize as he is the MC, and let him escape. To recover stolen
Fol, its the opposite - let him steal from Meracle when she is the MC, but
then she needs to immediately kill the scumbag that stole from her.

For Lymle, she needs to be in the party when the battle is over, and then
that Fol gets "counted" as her earning it, though she doesn't actually
need to be the MC to get credit toward the BT. Like all other AI
earned BTs, however, you do need to switch to her in order for the BT to
     unlock.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Fight ## Battles
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Hard
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 13 hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 6,500+

Special conditions of these trophies:

Faize does not need to be MC when battle begins. However, he needs to be
in the active party when it begins. A "battle" in this case is NOT what
is shown in the menu under the battle icon -- but instead is the number
of transitions from overworld to the battle system. Ambushes DO NOT COUNT
as extra "Battles" in this case. Colosseum battles DO count as a single
     battle each.

BTs that apply to this type:

     Faize-002: Fight 50 battles
     Faize-012: Fight 100 battles
     Faize-022: Fight 200 battles
     Faize-033: Fight 333 battles
     Faize-044: Fight 500 battles
     Faize-054: Fight 777 battles
     Faize-065: Fight 1,000 battles
     Faize-075: Fight 1,500 battles
     Faize-085: Fight 2,000 battles
     Faize-093: Fight 3,000 battles

Strategy:

This looks like a simple, straightforward set of BTs. They aren't.
These are very tedious BTs without a doubt. The best place is the
newbie bugs on Aeos. Its best if you just go into a cycle of the first
tunnel in the game (Urd Pass if I remember) back and forth, fighting
every single encounter as quickly as possible. Because of this, put
only melee in your party and DISABLE all spells and unequip ALL skills.
This way they will only do regular melee attacks which are actually fast.

You need to fight 3,000 battles with Faize in the party. This is very
     time consuming.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Being Enraged
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 4 hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be in control when each condition below is met.

BTs that apply to this type:

     Faize-013: Get enraged 10 times
     Faize-034: Get enraged 20 times
     Faize-055: Get enraged 30 times
     Faize-076: Get enraged 40 times
Faize-095: Get enraged three times in one battle
     Myuria-006: Get enraged 10 times
     Myuria-035: Get enraged 20 times
     Myuria-061: Get enraged 30 times
Myuria-064: Get enraged twice in one battle
     Myuria-077: Get enraged 40 times
Myuria-095: Get enraged three times in one battle

Strategy:

These are actually very easy to earn, as long as you have excellent
Lymle <--> Faize affection. In other words, they need to be able to
share a room together. If so, then this should be easy.

First, equip "Rage Boost" skill Rank 10 on Myuria. Secondly, form a
party of Edge, Faize, Lymle, and Sarah. Put MP regen gear on Sarah.
Put 1 HP armor on Lymle and Edge (Lots of HP -30%/-20% effects). Use an
     otherworldly cuisine on Sarah.

Go into WD 1F and get into a battle of the bugs. Kill them all except for
two of them. Put Faize and Sarah in one corner and put Edge and Lymle in
the other corner. Set Sarah to "Stay out of trouble!" tactics, and turn
off ALL of her spells except Restoration. At this point, Sarah will be on
Auto-Revive duty, and with Faize as MC, he will very randomly get enraged.
Once this goes on for about 2-3 minutes safely, you can go do something
else for about 2-3 hours which is how long it takes to get all of
     Faize's enraged BTs.

After Faize has the his BTs, replace him with Myuria and she will earn
all of her BTs. Myuria earns BTs MUCH faster, as she has Rage Boost
and will enrage much more often than Faize does.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Casting symbols a certain way
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... 3 hours
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... 0

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be in control when each condition below is met.

BTs that apply to this type:

Faize-069: Cast Enlighten on one character four times
Sarah-065: Cast Enhance on one character four times
Myuria-003: Cast a symbol within close range of an enemy
Myuria-014: Successfully cast a symbol 10 times in a row
Myuria-033: Successfully cast a symbol 20 times in a row
Myuria-034: Cast a symbol with no casting time
     Myuria-044: Cast 200 symbols
Myuria-045: Successfully cast a symbol 50 times in a row
Myuria-090: Successfully cast a symbol 100 times in a row
     Myuria-096: Cast 999 symbols

Strategy:

Myuria just needs to spam Ice Needles often when doing solo colosseum
battles to get the 100 times in a row BT. If she is interrupted just once
that counter resets to 0, so don't mess up! After that, getting 999
symbols is very easy - just takes a little bit of time - but Ice Needles
is a quick and efficient method.

Myuria can cast a symbol with no casting time by just using a Symbol
     Card item.

Faize needs to cast Enlighten on one character four times. You need to
do this fairly quickly as they can wear off if you take too long.

Sarah needs to cast Enhance on one character four times. You need to
do this fairly quickly as well.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BT Type: Unclassified BTs
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty to obtain all BT ........... Easy
Estimated time to obtain all BT ....... Varies
Estimated enemies needed to defeat .... Varies

Special conditions of these trophies:

MC must be in control when each condition below is met.

BTs that apply to this type:

      Edge-051: Press 10,000 buttons
      Edge-052: Squat 200 times
      Edge-091: Press 100,000 buttons
Lymle-058: Summon Cerberus 10 times in one battle
Lymle-069: Get turned into a pumpkin in battle
Sarah-049: Get turned into a pumpkin in battle
Sarah-094: Get turned into a pumpkin in battle 100 times

Strategy:

Pressing buttons. Really, tri-Ace? Ok. Just press buttons, and you
will eventually get this BT. Not much else I can recommend there. Only
button presses while in battle will count, though.

Edge "Squats" when you hold down the Rush Charge button when preparing
to blindside. You just need to do this 200 times. You can get this
easily when you are earning Edge's 1,000 Blindside BT.

Lymle needs to summon Cerberus 10 times in a single battle, so just
use an ability that brings out Cerberus 10 times and hopefully you
will not kill all of the enemies. You can definately get this when
     doing for Lymle-100.

Getting turned into a pumpkin in battle is very easy. Just have Lymle
and Sarah in party and get in a battle with some of the Spirit Priests in
the Purgatorium. Make sure everyone in the party has Auto-Healing Rank 10
on. Using Lymle, silence them. When the enemies go after Sarah, lure
them into a corner away from everyone else and allow them to melee Sarah.
At this point, you can sleep overnight and by the time you wake up the
next morning, Sarah should have both of her BTs. You can then just
make sure Lymle gets turned into a pumpkin once during battle to cover
     her one pumpkin BT.

=================================================-=-- -.- .  .
== [BTBOSS] Boss Battle Trophies (aka the REAL BTs)
=================================-=-- -.- .  .

In this final section of the BT guide, I will go over the most difficult BTs
to obtain in the entire game skill wise, and how to go about them. The format
for the BT will be similar to the above with some unnecessary information
omitted. Level recommendations are for Galaxy difficulty.

The most important thing to keep in mind about the Boss Battle BTs:

  >> THE MC MUST BE IN CONTROL AND MUST GET THE KILL SHOT FOR IT TO COUNT <<

This applies to all of the boss BTs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                     >> Boss Battle Trophy: Ashlay <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trophies:

     Edge-083: Defeat Ashlay
Edge-100: Defeat Ashlay within five minutes

Hit points:

     Earth ....... 4,160,000 (?)
     Galaxy ...... 5,200,000
     Universe .... 6,760,000
     Chaos ....... 8,840,000

Level Recommendations:

     For a hell of a challenge .... 80
     For a challenge .............. 100
     For a mild challenge ......... 115
For an easy fight ............ 140
     For a joke ................... 175+

Minimum Lv for 5 min kill .... 160

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Defeating Ashlay is pretty easy, and defeating him within five minutes is not
overly difficult. The hardest part of this is the journey to unlock the first
place spot of the colosseum. Even though you might be rank 2, keep fighting
the rank below you over and over again and eventually rank 1 will open up and
you will be able to fight Ashlay.

Assuming you are very well geared and at level 150 or so, you can just spam
Dragon Roar for awhile, and after Ashlay starts returning the favor with his
Dragon Roar look alike, hit him with about 3-5 more Dragon Roar combos and then
start chaining Raging Strike with Edge to flatten him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                    >> Boss Battle Trophy: Satanail <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trophies:

     Sarah-088: Defeat Satanail
Sarah-100: Defeat Satanail within five minutes

Hit points:

     Earth ....... 3,000,000 (?)
     Galaxy ...... 3,750,000 (?)
     Universe .... 4,875,000 (?)
     Chaos ....... 6,375,000 (?)

Level Recommendations:

     For a hell of a challenge .... 48
     For a challenge .............. 56
     For a mild challenge ......... 66
For an easy fight ............ 77
     For a joke ................... 135+

Minimum Lv for 5 min kill .... 160

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Satanail is the final boss of the game, and because of this I do not recommend
you go for this BT until you are sure you can decimate him. He is actually
very easy to defeat. However, his 5 minute kill might take a few levels for
you simply because Sarah has only 1 good way to damage him and the elemental
wheel portion, if not done right, can take 2-3 minutes.

Assuming you're at least level 160 (but really, you should just do this at
level 255 with crazy good gear since you don't want to screw it up), go in
with Arumat Dragon Roar, tear apart his elemental gems, and when he starts his
real form, use one or two dragon roars max, and then chain Sunflare with Sarah.
Sarah will actually do good damage with Sunflare. If she is not 9,999 INT,
then get some INT buffs on her stat and tear him up. He should die within
five minutes. You're welcome to go for it earlier than level 255, but failing
this part sucks, because then you need to run through Nox all over again. Ugh.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                 >> Boss Battle Trophy: Gabriel Celeste <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trophies:

     Meracle-086: Defeat Gabriel Celeste
Meracle-100: Defeat Gabriel Celeste within 10 minutes

Hit points:

     Earth ....... 2 Wing: 3,840,000 (?)
                   4 Wing: 7,680,000 (?)
                   6 Wing: 11,520,000 (?)
     Galaxy ...... 2 Wing: 4,800,000
                   4 Wing: 9,600,000
                   6 Wing: 14,400,000
     Universe .... 2 Wing: 6,240,000
                   4 Wing: 12,480,000
                   6 Wing: 18,720,000
     Chaos ....... 2 Wing: 8,160,000
                   4 Wing: 16,320,000
                   6 Wing: 24,480,000

Level Recommendations:

     For a hell of a challenge .... 95
     For a challenge .............. 122
     For a mild challenge ......... 139
For an easy fight ............ 168
     For a joke ................... 200+

Minimum Lv for 10 min kill ... 175

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Get used to this fight, because in order to 100% BT this game, you will need
to defeat him 17 - yes that is seventeen - times.

Meracle can actually solo Gabe with blindsiding, X Claw juggling, among other
things at level 255. However, assuming you're doing this for real - no other
recommendation other than go balls out. Recommend you equip anti-paralysis
items as well as anti-void items. He will paralyze you a LOT if you do not
equip these.

Juggle Gabe as you can with X Claw, and use Dragon Roar very liberally. Keep
going until he starts really going crazy. At that time you can turn everyone
on manual and start tearing him up with Meracle as best you can. Chaining
comet impact with blindsides and doing X Claw juggling is all key to getting
a 10 minute kill. Thankfully, Meracle is very very effective against Gabe so
this fight should not be very difficult.

Time Estimate:

     10 Hours

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                         !!!! IMPORTANT NOTES !!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     >> THE FINAL GRIGORI STRING AT THE END OF THE GAME ARE GRIGORI BUT <<
     >> WILL NOT COUNT TOWARD YOUR PROGRESS OF THE 55 GRIGORI BT UNLESS <<
     >> YOU ACTUALLY KILL YOUR 55TH GRIGORI WHEN FIGHTING THOSE ENEMIES <<
     >> IN WHICH CASE THE GRIGORI BT WILL SAVE WHEN YOU SAVE CLEAR DATA <<

                >> KOKABIEL SPAWNS DO NOT COUNT AS GRIGORI! <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This BT SUCKS. Without a doubt, the most boring BT in the entire game. This
one made me beat my head into the wall in total bewilderment as to how tri-Ace
could have made such... strange and odd design decisions.

Anyway, with that said...

There are six Grigori in the main game not counting the string at the end of
the game:

     - Armaros on Aeos at start of game
     - Barachiel in the Celestial Ship on Lemuris
     - Sahariel in the Cardianon Mothership
     - Tamiel in the Purgatorium
     - Armaros Manifest in the Miga Insect Warren on Aeos
     - Kokabiel in the EN II Sanctuary

You will want to try as best as you can to give Faize the kill shot on each
of these possible. the final two he will be unable to do until you choose to
keep him after the phantom ambush (Which you cannot do until you've cleared the
game once). So once you start playing what I will call your "Faize Game", you
will want to get the final two kill shots for Faize.

At this point you will have 6 Grigori kills under your belt.

So how do you kill 55 Grigori when there are only 6 in the game? Get used to
7SD, because you will be there a lot. You can get a few kills from the WD
(6F, 8F, 10F, and 14F bosses), but you do not want to farm those permanently.
7SD is a much faster farm spot. when clearing 7SD the first time with Faize,
get the kill shots on the following bosses in the 7SD:

     - 7SD 3F: Sahariel Shtavim (Northern Room)
     - 7SD 6F: Wrathful Tamiel (Southern Room)
     - 7SD 7F: Barachiel Fallen (Eastern Room)

This will put you at 9 Grigori. There is only one way you can respawn these
three bosses - Kill Gabrial Celeste. Wait.. What? Yes. Kill Gabe.

After Killing Gabe, go back through the above three 7SD Grigori and kill them
with Faize getting the kill shot for each. This will put you at 12. Guess
what you get to do next? Yep, go kill Gabe.

OH GOD REALLY? Yes really. You need repeat this cycle FIFTEEN MORE TIMES.
I ended up having 23 Gabriel Celeste kills in my collection when all was said
and done.

If you didn't get the initial six kill shots with Faize, or the first three
7SD kill shots with Faize, then you are at 0 Grigori, and will need to begin
killing Gabe for a total of NINETEEN times.

You can use the final 5 grigori at the final leg of the game before Satanail,
however you best be sure you're at 50+ Grigori, or it will be a lot of wasted
time. I stayed in 7SD the whole time personally, because I didn't want to have
to go through the ending of the game again.

NOTE: As already stated above, I am aware that you can also fight the Grigori
in the WD that will count toward this BT. However, there is no dispute
whatsoever that that is a much longer method as you need to get to the
6th floor of the WD to get your first Grigori, and not only that you
have to farm Disentigration Stones/Geostones on occasion. It's not worth
it, and takes much much longer, but if you absolutely want to do it that
      way, be my guest.

     Bacchus-070: Defeat 100 Kokabiel Spawn

Time Estimate:

     10 minutes

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This BT is a joke, but was included here because it is what I would classify
as a "boss" BT - in other words something special you must do at a boss battle
and it is a unique BT to a single character.

Do not use Black Hole Sphere - instead just spam Termination against the
Kokabiel Spawns until you get the BT. For some reason no one can really
explain, Black Hole Sphere just doesn't work well against these.

     >> YOUR GAME WHERE THE QUEEN IS STILL AVAILABLE IN TWO WING FORM! <<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is it, the hardest fight and most difficult "skill" BT in the game to
get. She is no joke, and the fact you have to use Lymle of all people to get
a kill shot within 10 minutes is even more ridiculous. I will admit I was
extremely lucky to obtain both of Lymles BTs in my first attempt at the queen
but most will not be that lucky.

Here is the strategy I used. First off, I used the ultimate gear, bar none.

All characters had a Super tri-Emblum. All characters had ultimate weapons
and armor (i.e. Meracle with Hidden claws/Absolute Protector, Reimi with
Mediumistic Bow/Absolute Protector, etc). The factors in each weapon were
very tailored to the character. No one had less than 85,000 HP. Everyone had
as many tri-Emblems as possible synthed to Armor and Weapons. Everyone was at
9,999 ATK or INT, and 9,999 DEF. When fighting EQ, I was consistiently hitting
her for 40k - 70k+ with many 99,999 crits. Make sure you have Paralysis
protection as well as Void protection. Before fight begins, use a otherworldly
cuisine on Lymle.

At the start of the fight, EQ is not all that hard. Assuming you're like me
and extremely well preared park Myuria (who should have Faerie Star) in a
corner and set her to do nothing. You will need to switch to her for Faerie
Star when necessary. Keep her in the opposite corner of EQ. You will need to
insanely beat on EQ with Dragon Roar chaining to 180% with Arumat, Raging
Strike on Edge, Meracle beating the tar out of her, and Reimi chain shooting
Crimson Wings/Savage Sparrows (Personally I like chaining Crescent Wings
to 200%+).

Keep beating on EQ and when she gets to the point where her Rush gauge stops
going down, and actually starts going up (While shes still in Rush mode) beat
on her full force for about 30 more seconds and then stop. Whomever EQ is
beating on, use a fainting potion so EQ will constantly hit them for 0 damage.

Bring in Lymle, replacing Myuria, and set everyone on Manual. With Lymle, you
should be set up to do NOTHING but Hound Grenade. Spam that as quick as you
can getting 180% chains. While EQ is 100% resistant to fire, Hound Grenade is
half fire, half standard melee attack. Hound Granade at the 180%+ range should
be hitting for about 35,000 - 55,000 damage. Chain this as fast as you can
and hopefully you will beat her before the fainting potion wears off. Whatever
you do, DO NOT TAKE CONTROL OFF LYMLE. You just do what you can. If you do
not get Lymle-100 your first try, make sure you save the same into a DIFFERENT
slot, and re-load your old game when you feel like giving it a shot again.

My record time for EQ using my set up is 6m 22s, so the 10 minute BT is very,
very possible.

Good luck!
