Here it is! My second achievement guide with hopefully more to come.
This is a guide to gaining all of the achievements in Overlord 2 for
the XBOX 360 but can also be used for the PS3 trophies. This guide does not
cover anything for the Wii or DS versions of Overlord 2. The achievements
themselves aren't difficult to achieve but I'm just explaining
strategies and locating the easiest way to gain them. If you have
suggestions, tips, strategies, or noticed any mistakes, visit my contact

My guides are only updated on Gamefaqs.com, so if you are viewing this
on another site, it may not be fully updated.
Most of the information collaborated in this guide is collected from the
help of other sites, forums, emails and guides. However, the tips I offer

1. Mayhem Maker 10G

Cause mayhem during the predlude
An inevitable storyline achievement to come across. You'll gain it during
the prelude of the game when you're just a wee little overlad. Once you
gain access to the town of Nordberg, light the giant rocket firework with
your magic and viola. This will be your very first achievement for
Overlord 2.

2. Industrious Magic 10G
=-----------------------=
Achieve 50 kills by overcharging the target spell
An easy achievement to come across if you're playing as a destruction
overlord. Whenever you come across a helpless citizen, target them and
hold the cast magic button (X button if your on the 360) until they die.
NOTE: Killing them will become easier and faster once you upgrade your
taget spells.

3. Big Chopper 10G

Achieve 50 melee kills
An achievement that you'll come across fairly early in the game. All you
need to do is to help your minions out and start swinging your weapon at
any enemies you may see. You can even kill a bunch of smaller creatures
like baby seals or gnomes, although they may be hard to catch and kill
since they're pretty fast. I got this once I reached the Nordberg Santuary
with all the elves and dryads (ladies with the pods).
NOTE: Make sure YOU do the final blow and not your minions. This is easily
done by doing the 3-hit-combo. The last hit is obviously the hardest.

4. Red Rescuer 10G

Find the Red Minions
Another inevitable storyline achievement. You must find the red's minion
hive to get the achievement.

Another inevitable storyline achievement. You must find the greens's minion
hive to get the achievement.

Another inevitable storyline achievement. You must find the blue's minion
hive to get the achievement.

7. Armed and Dangerous 10G

Forge One Weapon
Unless you're only sticking with the first weapon you recieve when you
start, you'll surely get this achievement after visiting your forgery in
your tower and forging one of the weapon choices that are available to you.
The forgery will become available to you once you return the red minion
hive to your tower.

8. Blue Steel Look 10G
=-----------------------=
Forge Elemental Armor and Evil Eye Helmet
One of the cool looking armor sets available to you earlier than halfway
through the game. Just forge them from Giblet when they become available
after aquiring a Nordberg Forge stone. The Nordberg stone can be found
past the fire barricade on the opposite side of the ballista. South-
Eastern area.
The armor will reduce damage from fire, poison, and elemental sources and
upgrade your health by 1 upgrade
The helmet will double every life force you pick up
It will cost you this for the Elemental Armor:
25 browns, 25 reds, 25 greens, 7500 gold, 25 gems, 1 dark crystal
It will cost you this for the Evil Eye Helmet:
25 browns, 25 reds, 25 greens, 4000 gold, 20 gems
NOTE: You can get more gems by revisiting a santuary or farming the
infinite amount of gnomes at the Everlight Facility. The gnomes love
to drop precious gems along with a lot of lifeforce.

9. Weapons Nut 20G

Forge 3 Weapons
Just forge any 3 weapons that become available to you in your forgery.
If you're not willing to spend the gold to do this you can forge your 3
weapons and then reload your last save. The game doesn't save after
forging so you'll still have the achievement.

10. Kitted Out 20G
=-----------------------=
Forge the Infernal Commander Helmet and Infernal Armor
One of the most awesome looking armor sets in the game that become
available to you towards the end of the game. Just forge them from Giblet
when they become available after aquiring an Empire Harbor's Forge Stone.
It's hard to miss this stone. It's near the tower gate when heading
towards the catapult in the Empire Harbor area.
The armor will upgrade your health by 2 uprgades.
The helmet will increase minion command by 5.
It will cost you this for the Armor:
100 browns, 50 reds, 50 greens, 50 blues, 10'000 gold, 50 gems, 3 dark
crystals
It will cost you this for the Commander Helmet:
75 browns, 50 reds, 50 greens, 25 blues, 6000 gold, 40 gems, 2 dark crystals
NOTE: You can get more gems by revisiting a santuary or farming the
infinite amount of gnomes at the Everlight Facility. The gnomes love
to drop precious gems along with a lot of lifeforce.

11. Town Razer 15G
=-----------------------=
Destroy 1 town
You'll then need to destroy all of the citizens in the town you're
destroying (100 in each town). You can kill them by holding your target
spell (X button on the 360) or you can target them and start flailing your
weapon around. You don't HAVE to destroy the homes too, but you'll get some
easy gold out of it.
NOTE: The houses will be marked in RED on your maps, however, you cannot
destroy 3 of the houses next to the town's interface so don't bother.

8. Slaver 15G
=-----------------------=
Enslave 1 town
There are 100 citizens within each of the two towns and you just need to
subdue all of them within ONE of the towns. You can do this by targeting
them and holding the magic spell button (X button on the 360). Just be sure
to release the X button before their health runs out, otherwise they will
die. OH TEH NOES!
NOTE: You do not have to destroy the citizens homes but break down their
door to come out from hiding. The houses will be marked RED on your
maps, however, you cannot destroy 3 of the houses next to the town's
interface so don't bother.

13. Scrooge 20G
=-----------------------=
Collect 50,000 gold
You probably won't hit this achievement until a lot later in the game.
Just don't spend any of your gold until you hit this achievement and just
pillage everything. Haha, although this isn't realistic since you'll need
better weapons and upgraded minions, just spend as little as you need to.
But still pillage everything in sight.
One easy way to get some quick cash is to revisit the Everlight Facility
and in the most eastern area there will always be a stash of goodies
whenever you revisit the area.
Another way to get a lot of gold may not be the most effective is to
destroy all the homes in each town. If you plan to destroy all of the
citizens, they will all drop a good amount of gold after being killed.
If you plan on enslaving everyone, they will collect an amount of gold
over time that will appear next to your tower gate (in the town) in the
form of treasure chests.
If you're getting several of the other achievements at one time that
require spending money, such as using the forgery, it's possible to not
spend any money and still get these achievements without another
playthough. All you need to do is reload your last save directly after
recieving your achievement. The game does not save after using things
like the forgery.
NOTE: You must have this amount all at one time.

14. Rescuer of Kelda 15G

Rescue Kelda from Nordberg
An inevitable storyline achievement you'll get once you defeat Borius
in Nordberg. She'll want to become your mistress and of course you will
humbly accept!

15. Juno's Special Friend 20G
=-----------------------=
Buy gifts for Juno and woo her into becoming your "special" friend
After rescuing her from the Governess, she'll become your mistress. For
her to become a "special" friend you'll need to buy her gifts that you'll
be able to buy for her and she'll show you a good time.
NOTE: In order for a mistress to become a special friend, you'll first need
to make her your first mistress by visiting them in your private
quarters. After choosing a mistress go to the customize your tower
table and you'll need to buy ALL of their items available, including
the banners. A cutscene will unfold and that particular mistress will
show you a GOOD time.
**Kelda's items don't seem to appear until you have Juno at your tower.

16. Dark Fay's Special Friend 20G

Buy gifts for Dark Fay and woo her into becoming your "special" friend
After corrupting Queen Fay, she'll become Dark Fay. Don't kill her and
she'll be your mistress when you return to your tower. For her to become a
"special" friend you'll need to buy her gifts that you'll be able to buy
for her and she'll show you a good time.
NOTE: In order for a mistress to become a special friend, you'll first need
to make her your first mistress by visiting them in your private
quarters. After choosing a mistress go to the customize your tower
table and you'll need to buy ALL of their items available, including
the banners. A cutscene will unfold and that particular mistress will
show you a GOOD time.
**Kelda's items don't seem to appear until you have Juno at your tower.

17. Ghost Fay's Special Friend 20G

Buy gifts for Ghost Fay and woo her into becoming your "special" friend
After killing her when she's Dark Fay, (Look at Corruptor of the Queen
achievement to see how) she'll become your mistress when you return to your
tower. For her to become a "special" friend you'll need to buy her gifts
that you'll be able to buy for her and she'll show you a good time.
NOTE: In order for a mistress to become a special friend, you'll first need
to make her your first mistress by visiting them in your private
quarters. After choosing a mistress go to the customize your tower
table and you'll need to buy ALL of their items available, including
the banners. A cutscene will unfold and that particular mistress will
show you a GOOD time.
**Kelda's items don't seem to appear until you have Juno at your tower.

18. Pillager 20G

Win 10 pirate plunder maps
ALL MULTIPLAYER ACHIEVEMENTS NEED TO BE RANKED.
This is very unfortunate for people such as myself as this type of
multiplayer is very time consuming. The easiest way around this is to get
a buddy to help you get them if he has overlord 2 as well. If you don't
have any friends, you can try asking on the forums at gamefaqs. Xbox
players can try the forums at achieve360points.com or xbox.com. PS3
players can try to the forums at ps3trophies.com.
Since hardly anybody every plays ranked it should be easy for you and
your buddy to find each other. My friend that I was playing found me all
but twice using the quick search. Just take turns winning matches if it's
somebody you just met, otherwise they might not want to put in the effort
to help you get your achievement. As long as they're ranked matches that
you are playing, you should definitely get these achievements. You can
also try for the Adversary achievement doing this (helpful strategy below).
NOTE: Suprisingly multiplayer is not very laggy but it is very glitchy.
Many minions may get stuck in one place at a time and you can't call
them back.

Kill an opposing overlord 20 times in ranked versus matches
The easiest way to do this is to get a buddy, find each other in ranked on
a domination match (which isn't hard since hardly ANYBODY ever plays
ranked). Once you're in your buddies lobby, decide who is going to run in
and do the dying. The person who isn't dying must set up at least 5 or more
greens in the CENTER zone. Even place some reds there so your "enemy" will
die a lot faster since ALL minions in the area will overcharged. Just make
sure whoever is dying to keep going to the center after each spawn and it
should take about 8 minutes to reach 20 kills. Sometimes you'll need to make
about 21 kills for it to register. Just do it again for the other person to
get the achievement. It's almost impossible to get this achievement without
boosting.

23. Minion Captain 10G

Rescue all the minion crew from the spiderwebs.
An easy achievement to gain. It becomes available to you once you crash
your ship and your minions are scattered throughout Everlight Jungle. The
reason they're easy to find is because if you have it selected as the
current objective, the game will show the location of where they're strung
up at and you just need to find them. It's the "Find Crew Quest".
NOTE: Just watch out for the horde of spiders that appear after releasing
your fellow minions.

24. Minion Harvester 10G
=-----------------------=
Gather 10 lifeforce orbs
This is just blatantly too easy even if playing the game for only 5 minutes.
It should be one of the first achievements you get for Overlord 2. Just
have your minions kill baby seals and other creatures and they'll drop
lifeforce. Lifeforce is what powers your minions in the form of different
colored orbs. 10 creatures should surely do it. You'll NEED more than 10
to even get past the first 10 minutes of the game.

25. Minion Gatherer 20G

Gather 250 lifeforce orbs
Just keep killing creatures and any enemies you may come across for their
lifeforce. You should get about right after you recover the red minion
hive.

26. Minion Hoarder 20G
=-----------------------=
Gather 1,000
See stratedy for Minion Lover (below).

Gather 5,000 lifeforce orbs
This is a more challenging achievement compared to the other similar ones.
If your minions aren't dying very often and you're killing absolutely
EVERYTHING in sight, you should get this sooner than later. Although some
boosting may be required. You can go back to already visited/conquered areas
and kill smaller creatures like seals or gnomes. Gnomes also drop gems used
for forging items.
**Also, once you return the Nordberg Forge Stone (location under Blue Steel
Look achievement), you can forge the Evil Eye helmet which will double any
lifeforce dropped.
Gnomes usually drop between 1 and 2 lifeforce orbs per gnomes. You
can always hear their little squeaks of terror when they're nearby. There
also seems to be an endless supply of them in the Everlight Facility
where you returned the green hive from. Return here, grab about 30 minions
and open the cage door holding back all of the gnomes. Stand in the middle
of the stairs facing the cage and tape down your minion sent button (RT
on the 360). It takes about 10 minutes for every 500 gnomes to be killed
since they just keep respawning every 10 seconds or so. I also plugged in
my play & charge cable because the controller will vibrate a lot. You can
also just turn off vibration to conserve battery life.
You can also put a guard marker over the holes where the gnomes keep
respawning from. It's the area where the gnomes steal the tower heart.
The only problem with this is that your minions won't grab any lifeforce
the gnomes may drop. You'll have to grab it yourself or keep a few minions
by your side and send them out to collect.
NOTE: Smaller creatures such as bugs and parrots don't drop lifeforce so
they're not really worth the energy to kill them.

28. Tyrant of Nordberg 25G

Complete full Tyranny over Nordberg through either Domination or Destruction
A storyline achievement. After choosing wether or not to kill or subdue
Borius and destroying the temple, go to the town's interface and spend the
money to get control over Nordberg.

29. Walking Apocalypse 30G
=-----------------------=
Destroy both Nordberg and Everlight
If you're going for a 100% destruction rating this achievement is VERY
helpful! Otherwise it may require a second playthrough. Just completely
obliterate both towns, i.e. killing everyone and everything and destroying
citizen homes. But more importantly, the citizens are who you need to worry
about. The homes just contain more gold along with the satisfaction of
destruction.

30. New World Order 30G

Enslave both Nordberg and Everlight
If you're going for a 100% domination rating this achievement is VERY
helpful! Otherwise it may require a second playthrough. Just enslave all
100 citizens from each town by subduing them. DO NOT KILL THEM and try not
to destroy their homes. It doesn't help the domination rating although
it's nice if you want some extra gold although you'll need to bust down the
door to get them to come out from hiding.

31. The Dominator 40G

Achieve a 100% domination tyranny rating (Being good)
When you are at your status menu, you will see a blue and red slider bar
with the word alignment underneath. This is your domination/destruction
tyranny rating. It must be all the way on the domination (blue/good)
rating to recieve this achievement. It also helps to be either one or the
other instead of staying towards the middle, especially if you want this
achievement. You will gain great extras by choosing a side.
A small guide below to help you on your way to ultimate domination.
NOTE: DO NOT upgrade your target spells as it will kill anyone who you try
to dominate.
1 - Dominate Governor Borius.
2 - Dominate Nordberg by enslaving all 100 people.
3 - Dominate ten villagers to melt ice around your ship.
4 - Dominate the elven commune at Nordberg. after using your wolfs to drop
the bridge leave your minions at the start as they will attack the
villagers.
5 - Dominate the Governess.
6 - Dominate Everlight.
7 - Dominate Senator Drearius and his wife.
8 - Subdue the Yeti at the Arena. use your target spell on him but be
careful not to kill him.
9 - Don't kill Dark Queen Fay after powering the tower heart just return to
your tower.

31. The Destructor 40G

Achieve a 100% destruction tyranny rating (Being evil, REALLY evil)
When you are at your status menu, you will see a blue and red slider bar
with the word alignment above. This is your domination/destruction
tyranny rating. It must be all the way on the destruction (red) rating to
recieve this achievement. It also helps to be either one or the other
instead of staying towards the middle, especially if you want this
achievement. You will gain great extras by choosing a side.
A small guide below to help you on your way to ultimate destruction.
1 - kill Governor Borius.
2 - Destroy Nordberg by killing all 100 inhabitants and bulidings.
3 - Destroy Nordhaven by igniting the final tar pit.
4 - Destroy the elven commune at Nordburg.
5 - kill the Governess.
6 - Destroy Everlight kill all 100 people in everlight.
7 - kill Senator Drearius and his fat wife.
8 - Slay the Yeti at the Arena. make sure you have a decent or upgraded
target spell keep zapping him till he dies.

An inevitable storyline achievement to come across. You'll gain it once you
rescue her from the Governess and return her to your tower. Kelda won't be
too pleased but Juno is WAY hotter.

Buying gifts for your lady is simple. There is a table in the eastern part
of your private quarters that allows you to purchase items. If all
purchases are made for your lady they'll offer to become your "special"
friend, but Of course you'll accept!
NOTE: In order for a mistress to become a special friend, you'll first need
to make her your first mistress by visiting them in your private
quarters. After choosing a mistress go to the customize your tower
table and you'll need to buy ALL of their items available, including
the banners. A cutscene will unfold and that particular mistress will
show you a GOOD time.
**Kelda's items don't seem to appear until you have Juno at your tower.

4. Ladies' Man 40G

Find a way for you and your 3 mistresses to become "special" friends
You can do this by first gaining 3 of the mistresses available in the game
and basically "woo" all 3 of them. Do this by owning 2 objects from each
mistress, i.e. 1 bedroom object and 1 throne room object.
You'll earn a tower object for making your mistresses happy.
Here's an easy way to please all 3 mistresses.
For Fay, a throne and bed.
For Juno, curtains and a statue.
For Kelda, candles and the alcove.
You must also have the overlord banners as well.
NOTE: To buy an object from each mistress, they must become your first
mistress by selecting one from your private quarters.

5. Corruptor of the Queen 15G

Corrupt Queen Fay to turn her into Dark Fay
During the storyline, you will fight Queen Fay and deplete her health with
magic. She'll turn into Dark Fay once the Tower heart has completely
charged thanks to you using your target spell on her. After she has been
corrupted, you can choose wether or not to kill her. Killing her will turn
her into Ghost Fay (another achievement). Subduing her will make her
stay Dark Fay. Either will return as your mistress.

6. Dark Emperor 30G

Kill Solarius
Simple. Finish the game by defeating the last boss.

7. Perfect Horde 30G

Fully upgrade all 50 minions in your horde
You must first have a maximum of 50 minions in your horde. You can get the
maximum by collecting. Secondly, there is a percentage that appears when
your minions collect items or when you spawn them. You must have this
percentage at 400% to have your minions at "maximum power". Also, every
minion needs to have the most powerful weapon and armor they can grab.
Get them weapons/armor by breaking open boxes.
**This may not be a true description. I will update once it's confirmed.
A small guide below to help you upgrade the number of minions you have.
1) - Nordberg - Near a bridge that overlooks the town, right about when
Gnarl says he remembers the town 13 years ago.
2) - Nordberg - after obtaining the reds you can go to the dig site, when
you reach the part where you use minions to push a cart needed to open
the gate to the town , right about where the are archers shooting you
by the dig sight look closely at the rubble on the ground next to
them stop a mine cart next to it, upgrade is inside.
3) - Everlight Reef - center island's inner dock you should be able to see
this while on the island but when your ready ram the bolder with your
ship to get to it.
4) - Everlight Town Resort - North of gate 3 near spider mount icon on your
map.
5) - Empire Harbor Area - Near Gate at the slave camp.
6) - Wasteland - At the zombie village in the northwest, just past
the spinning stone thing.
7) - The Infernal Helmet increases horde size by five.

Get this achievement by upgrading all of your minion types to level 2 in

A storyline achievement. After choosing wether or not to kill or subdue
the Governess and destroying the temple, go to the town's interface and

11. Treasure Hunter 50G

Obtain all tower objects in the game
This includes all mana, life, spell catalysts, spell stones, forge stones
and minion tower objects and you'll need to collect all of them. There's
also a harp that needs collecting.
The Life upgrades -
(1) Nordburg Town - Near the southern Netherworld Gate (gate 1). You find it
around the time you get the first spellstone, right behind a wood barricade.
Get it before manually returning to the tower for the first time.
(2) Everlight Reef - North edge of the map, near the Reef's northeastern
Netherworld Gate (gate 1). Take the item on the ship and transport it to the
island with the more accessible center gate (gate 2).
(3) Nordburg Town - The ice lake at the north. Use blue minions to bring the
item to the raft and ship it over to the tower portal (gate 2).
(4) Wasteland - At the small magic pool near the zombie shire (northeast),
there is a stretch of blue pool to this item. If you come here after the Tower
Heart quest, the endless magic snails will stop (to be replaced by endless
zombie hordes). Simply use blue minions to dry off the magic goop to the tower
object.
(5) Empire Hills - Past the second Netherworld Catapult, destroy the aqueduct
barricade. One of the side barriers leads to the life upgrade. Unlike the
nearby dark crystal, you do not need wolf mounts to get this item
The Mana upgrades -
(1) Nordburg Sanctuary Cave - At the statue of Queen Fay. Destroy the magic
stone that falls from her statue and take the tower object to the Netherworld
Gate (gate 3).
(2) Everlight Jungle - After defeating the Spider Boss, this tower object is
at the top of the long lift ride back up. Use the Overlord to open the secret
room. Incidentally, this secret room is one of the best methods to cycle gold.
(3) Nordburg - Unlock the green hive and lead the green minions destroy the
poisonous wall in the town's western quadrant. This lets you access the tower
object you can see outside of town, but could not get to earlier.
(4) Wasteland - Near area dotted with magical pools at the Netherworld Gate
(gate 1), use the red minions to navigate past the fire and around the magical
goop to this tower object.
(5) Wasteland Sanctuary - Go to gate 2 with blue minions. There is a pool
northwest of the Netherworld Gate (gate 2) that has this item. Easy to miss on
the way in and out because you are fighting the King Salamander the second
time.
The Minion upgrades -
(15) - This is the defaault horde size required to beat the game and is
available once you start the game as the adult Overlord. Each additional
command object you acquire will increase your horde size by five.
(20) - Nordburg - Near the bridge overlook over the town where Gnarl remembers
the town 13 years ago, shortly after you recover the spellstone in the
Nordburg Sanctuary. Make sure to stop this item from reaching the warpgate
until the spellstone cut-scene ends, or you get nothing (bug).
(25) - Nordburg - After unlocking the red hive, you will be notified of the
dig site (and Borius, that fat bastard). Near the mine cart track connecting
the Netherworld Gate to the dig site, there is a pile of rock rubble that
hides a tower object. To get it, stop the mine cart at the track curve and get
the red minions to fire on it by putting them on a banner near the cart. If
there are no enemies nearby, the red minions auto-target explosives.
(30) - Everlight Reef - The center island's inner dock. Increase the ship's
speed to maximum and ram the rocks blocking the path. You must take the item
onto the ship to warp it out at a waypoint gate. You need the elven ship
instead of the Nordhaven whaler for the ship's ram. Now if Rise of the
Argonauts' ship had been treated like this, it would've been a better game ...
not.
(35) - Everlight Town Resort - North of the Netherworld Gate (gate 3) where
the spider mount icon is on your map.
(40) - Empire Harbor - Near the Netherworld Gate at the slave camp.
(45) - Wasteland - At the zombie shire in the northwest quadrant, just past
the rotating stone. This zombie village is near the wastelands sanctuary
entrance.
(50) - The Infernal Helmet increases horde size by five. This is the only way
to complete the mmaximum Horde level challenges (the trophies and achievements
bullcrap).

Spell stones (3)
* Target (Nordberg) � This is the first you get, the game walks you through
it early on in Nordberg and it�s unmissable.
* Halo (Everlight Jungle) - After you get your green minions return to the
nethorworld gate, there are two green poison barrier blocking your way that
you can now get through. One leads to the next area, the other to this
spell stone.
* Minion (Wasteland)
Forge Stones (3)
* Nordberg - After you get the red minions and return to conquer the town
this is behind the first fire barrier you come to, just after your first
fight with a Centurion and an Empire formation. Very close to where you
got the first health upgrade.
* Everlight Jungle - Just after you find the Netherworld gate, this stone
is down around the corner from the two green poison barriers sitting in
front of the mother godess statue. Almost impossible to miss.
* Empire Harbour - After disguising your minions and entering the fort with
the catapultthis stone is up the stairs right beside the catapult, almost
impossible to miss. Dark crystal[18] is also in this area on the ground
floor.
Harp
* Unique item found on Nordberg Sanctuary, fairly near the end just before
you reach the second Netherworld gate and have to use the second minion
control stone to raise the lift. Hard to miss.

12. Mount Master 20G

Discover and use all minion mounts in the game
There are 3 different mounts for your minions. Wolves for the Browns,
Spiders for the Greens, and Salamanders for your Reds. You should recieve
this achievement when you defeat the Salamader King and have tamed the
salamanders in the storyline.

13. Gnome Grinder 20G
=-----------------------=
Kill 1,000 Gnomes
Gnomes usually drop between 1 and 2 lifeforce orbs per gnomes. You
can always hear their little squeaks of terror when they're nearby. There
also seems to be an endless supply of them in the Everlight Facility
where you returned the green hive from. Return here, grab about 30 minions
and open the cage door holding back all of the gnomes. Stand in the middle
of the stairs facing the cage and tape down your minion sent button (RT
on the 360). It takes about 10 minutes for every 500 gnomes to be killed
since they just keep respawning every 10 seconds or so. I also plugged in
my play & charge cable because the controller will vibrate a lot. You can
also just turn off vibration to conserve battery life.
You can also put a guard marker over the holes where the gnomes keep
respawning from. It's the area where the gnomes steal the tower heart.
The only problem with this is that your minions won't grab any lifeforce
the gnomes may drop. You'll have to grab it yourself or keep a few minions
by your side and send them out to collect.

14. Rock On 20G
=-----------------------=
Kill 15 or more enemies with a single catapult boulder
This can be done right in the begining during the prelude, or towards the
end when the catapult becomes available to you. Just aim it right into the
legion formations and the boulder should roll when flung, killing more in
the formation.
NOTE: If you miss it here, it will be up for grabs again near the end when
you go to the Empire.

15. Seal Slayer 20G

Kill 100 baby seals
Pretty self explantatory. Just revisit the icey areas where the seals
congregate, such as the Nordberg forest. The bigger, tougher seals don't
count. It must be the cute, white and fuzzy seals. Once you've killed all
in the area, go the the next area or to the Netherworld and return to the
area once more.
NOTE: If you're having a difficult time catching the little buggers, you
can get a bunch of greens together and plant a guard marker to where
they come in and out of the water. Then just sit back and watch the
carnage unfold!

16. Crystal Collector 15G

Collect 50% of all dark crystals
There are 30 crystals in all and you only need to collect 15 of them.
They are usually found in small, tan vases. There isn't too many of them
so budgeting is key to getting several achievements (such as the Blue Steel
Look achievement) until you've collected them all.
NOTE: There aren't enough Dark Crystals in the game to forge and upgrade
everything in the game.

17. Ultimate Collector 30G
=-----------------------=
Collect 100% of all Dark Crystals.
There are 30 crystals in all and you only need to collect 15 of them.
They are usually found in small, tan vases. There isn't too many of them
so budgeting is key to getting several achievements (such as the Blue Steel
Look achievement) until you've collected them all.
NOTE: There aren't enough Dark Crystals in the game to forge and upgrade
everything in the game.
An EXTREMELY helpful section below on where to find all of the Dark
Crystals.
1 - The main audience chamber of the Tower. On a side balcony.
2 - The Minion Burrows area at the Tower. At a rocky dead-end near the blue
hive.
3 - The Minion Burrows area. A second crystal in the room, on a rope bridge
near the red hive.
4 - The private quarters of the Tower. On the pointed balcony.
5 - The Forge of the Tower, near the giant blower.
6 - Nordburg Sanctuary Cave. Near tree roots of "Beware the pointy hats of
doom!" human, near where you get your free red minions the first time. If you
warp here later, it is past the deep stream where you ditch all but your blue
minions.
7 - Nordburg Town. After using explosives to blow open Nordburg's front gate,
send a second mine cart into the village and detonate it. The cart will get
rid of some rubble with this dark crystal.
8 - Everlight Reef. Near the red keystone are some ruins your Overlord can't
get to because of deep water. Use blue minions to swim to it.
9 - Everlight Reef. After placing the yellow keystone on its pedastel (the
one you take from the elf ship). Your big ass Overlord needs to go down to a
sandbar infested with mermaids (the suffix of 'maid' is applied loosely here).
This is to blow up a ship blocking the path back to your ship (since you can't
use the elevator anymore). From the red and brown minion portals near the
yellow keystone, go down the first flight of stairs towards the sandbar. Stop
at the bottom of the stairs. Turn right and have the minions fetch the dark
crystal.
10 - Everlight Jungle. Locate the pre-set greens. Locate a spur on the north
edge of the map. The road spur is next to deep water pond and it has a crystal
at its tip. This is after defeating the two fat Elves and near one of the
trapped crewmen.
11 - Everlight Facility - North end of facility (ground floor) near where the
pandas were (but west) - uses a five minion floor plate. The Overlord might be
able to go this deep, but it's honestly faster if you are possessing a minion
instead.
12 - Everlight Facility - East wing of facility. Cave that leads outside to
some rubble waste area. You should get to it using the minions (faster and
easier).
13 - Everlight Facility - After using the possessor stone, there is a small
gate (opened with a five minion floor switch) you can open near where the
Green Hive as initially found. The gate leads to a space with this crystal.
You must be a minion to get this crystal, since the Overlard can fit his fat
ass up here.
14 - Everlight Temple - Having escaped the depths of the spider temple, there
is a secret room at the temple's exit with many treasure chests and a single
dark crystal.
15 - Everlight Temple Outskirts. Locate the spider webs near Netherworld Gate.
Requires a green minion with a spider mount to get it.
16 - Everlight Town Resort. Use blue minions to get to the island with the
spell catalyst. There is a small bridge only minions can cross. The crystal is
at the end of that small bridge.
17 - Nordburg. Locate the ballista in the northeast (near where you defeat
Governor Borius) and go north past the locked gate. If you reload the map
after seizing Nordburg, locked gates with no linked turnstiles switches are
unlocked/opened. A path on the snowy mountains (the tutorial area) has this
crystal.
18 - Empire Harbor. In a corner of the catapult fortress, ground level.
19 - Empire Heartland. Slay the Gargantuan after destroying all the Sentinels
on the main road for this crystal.
20 - Empire Sewer. Near the area's Netherworld Gate. Next to the raft you used
cross over the river, there is grating with the crystal's obvious glow shwoing
through. With blue minions, move the raft to a different dock, de-bus, and
fetch the crystal under the grating.
21 - Empire Sewer. At the crane room where you had to pick up and drop four
blue minions, there is a 20 minion floor switch. Get 20 blue minions to open
this side path and have your Overlord deal with the eradicators. The dark
crystal is at the end of the walkway.
22 - Wasteland. Southward pointing spur just north of the Wasteland's
Netherworld gate (gate 1). You can get this crystal once you have blue
minions; they suck up the magic goop surrounding it.
23 - Wasteland. Northwest quadrant near the zombie shire that's next to the
Wastelands Sanctuary entrance. In fact right before meeting Fay and Florian,
you may get this if you've been thorough.
24 - Wasteland. Northern zombie village. This is the zombie village (not a
halfling shire featuring the houses with round doors) near the magic pool with
the wasteland life upgrade. The crystal is behind one of the village's shacks.
Razing every building in the area like the 1st Cav in Aplocalypse Now will
uncover this crystal.
25 - Wasteland. At the big magic goop lake. Look for crystal in the lake's
northeast loop (it's rather hard to specify this one with zombies and fell
beasts trying to twist the nipples off your Overlord and all you have are le-
crap blue minions to keep the acid from burning off your face).
26 - Wasteland. During the escape from the Empire (with the Frank Miller 300
arrows coming at you on the cliff), you will scale an S-turn on a cliff. At
the top of the S-curve (pointing southwest) is a rise/side of the road only
minions can get to. The crystal on the side of the road before you slide down
one-way slope to the sanctuary. You can get this after the Tower Heart quest,
and the arrows will no longer harass you.
27 - Wasteland Sanctuary. On your way out after destroying all four shrines,
there is a red pit with fire arrow soldiers. Past them is a path leading back
out of the sanctuary. The crystal is on that path, in plain sight.
28 - Wasteland Sanctuary Town (one chance). As you go back towards Queen Fay
after destroying all four shrines, there is a point in the sanctuary town
where your minions push out two statues to shield the Overlord from fire
archers. Shortly after this, you will encounter a lone centurion (Roman leader
guy in red cape and gold armor) at an intersection of many stairs and
walkways. Take the stairs going up to this elven hippie lounge. The dark
crystal is hidden in the junk pile there. Note that if you complete the Tower
Heart quest (and take Dark Fay or Ghost Fay as the final mistress) you cannot
re-enter this area and dark crystal is lost to your game forever.
29 - Empire Hills. Past the second netherworld catapult, destroy the bombers
on the barbican (guard tower) by using wolf-riding brown minions to hop the
gap. The crystal is on the other side of the destroyed gap, in plain sight,
but hard to get to unless you have the right mount. If you need to change the
mount type to wolves, go back to the tower and make Kelda your First Mistress.
You can always change the mount type again after you get the crystal.
30 - Empire City. One of the city ramparts at the gate to Solarius' palace. If
you accidentally enter the Emperor's palace, you can turn around and leave to
get this crystal. Note that once you've beaten the game, you cannot go back
into the palace (or the arena, or the Sanctuary Town in the wastelands).
