LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is a great game. Heck, all LEGO
games are awesome. However, I find that most people enjoyed the Indiana Jones
quadrilogy (or whatever it's called) more enjoyable than the Star Wars Trilogy
because of various reasons. In this game you can play as many characters from
the actual movie and you can even play as Santa Claus! (Extra/Cheat). So what

Collect all artefacts.
Artefacts have the physical appearance of treasure chests. If you have played
LEGO Star Wars (any one) then you should also know Artifacts as "Minikits".
When you pick them up they make a loud noise and are counted towards one of
ten in the level. There are 180 of them total in the game.A very excellent
guide of the locations of the artifacts is located in the below URL. Copy and
paste it into your address bar of your Internet browser.

2. Your mail is on your desk. (40 Points)
Post all parcels.
You don't actually have to go searching for all the Parcels and the Mail boxes
in which to send them. Let me just tell you that Cheat Codes do NOT disable
Achievements! (Except for one. See 'It's not the years honey') Go to the
appropriate room and enter the following cheat codes to bypass a lot of
unnecessary playing.

3. Fortune & glory kid. (100 Points)
Complete the game to 100%.
To get this Achievement you must do the following:
- Collect all the artifacts in the game. See "This... this is history" for
details.
- Find the parcels and buy all extras OR see "Your mail is on your desk" for
a much easier way to get parcels and extras.
- Get the "True Adventurer" status on every level. When your playing, there is
a bar on the top. When you collect enough coins in that level it will light up
and glow.
- Unlock all the characters. See "You chose... wisely" for details.
- Complete every level in the game. (The story levels and the 3 bonus levels)

4. You chose... wisely. (30 Points)
Unlock all of the available characters.
You shouldn't get this one until you are actually at almost 100% completion.
To know that you have unlocked every character, start a game up on Freeplay
and you should see that every character slot is occupied. You can buy
characters from the library and unlock them from playing the actual game.

5. You will become a true believer. (20 Points)
Use a Thuggee Statue 20 times.
Thuggee statues occur in every level (just about) but only the Thuggee
characters occur in the Temple of Doom. You should use a Thuggee statue about
15-17 times just playing the story and gathering artifacts. Then just play
a level over and over, using a statue, until you get the Achievement.

6. Bad dates! (20 Points)
Give 20 bananas to monkeys. (20 Points)
To get this one quickly (because you probably won't get it playing the game),
re-play "City of Danger" in Raiders of the Lost Ark and you should see a
monkey at the very beginning of the level. Throw him a banana (Press B) and
he will throw you a wrench. Jump out of the way so that your character doesn't
catch it and a few seconds later the monkey will pull out another wrench.
Repeat the process until you get the bleep-bloop.

7. What a cautious fellow I am. (20 Points)
Destroy 50 objects with a bazooka or other explosive device.
This one is much easier than it sounds. Blowing ANYTHING up except for a
person counts towards this. To get it VERY quickly create a custom character
with a bazooka and start up and level you want. Shoot anything that doesn't
move and you should get this in no time.

8. You call this archaeology? (20 Points)
Use a scholar character's academic ability 50 times. (20 Points)
You will definitely not get this Achievement in your first play through. If
you somehow do, that was luck. So if you don't get in in your first play
through then start up "Temple of the Grail" in The Last Crusade and pick
Indy's dad as your main character. As soon as the level starts, run up and
build the ladder to the right. Then climb up and solve the two puzzles. Once
you solve the second one, Save and Quit and restart the level. You only have
to repeat this 25 times or less!

9. The best digger in Cairo. (20 Points)
Uncover 50 pieces of buried treasures using the excavation ability.
Now you should get this Achievement in your first play-through. If I could
take a guess, there are about 50-60 places to dig in the campaign (not
including 'secret areas') However if you don't get this in your first play
through, just start up any random level that you know has a lot of digging
areas and play it. You should then get the Achievement (hopefully!).

10. Trouble with her is the noise. (20 Points)
Destroy 50 objects or characters using the scream and super scream ability.
If you turn on the Extra "Super Scream" then your scream with actually hurt,
and eventually, kill other characters. However, I don't think that that
actually counts towards the Achievement. To get this very quickly, start up
"Shanghai Showdown" in Temple of Doom and pick Willie as your character. Run
to the right and scream at the glass. Just Save and Quit then repeat till you
get the Achievement (could take from 15 to 20 minutes).

11. Start the engines, Jock!
Use a mechanic character's repair ability 50 times.
In order to get this 5 times quicker than normal first scroll up to #2 and
enter the cheat code for "Fast Fix". Turn it on from Start -> Extras and start
up "Pursuing the Ark" in Raiders of the Lost Ark and choose a character with
a wrench as your main person. When the level starts, run to the right and you
should see a broken machine. "Fast" fix it, and wait until the lift thing
goes up twice. It should break again. Fix it AGAIN and AGAIN until you get the
Achievement.

12. How we say goodbye in Germany. (20 Points)
Access restricted enemy locations 50 times.
I 100% guarantee you that you will not even have accessed 30 restricted enemy
locations by the end of your first playthrough. So, start up "Motorcycle
Escape" in The Last Crusade and make your character a custom guy with an enemy
hat on and a wrench in-hand. This way that every time you have to restart the
level, you will have the wrench that you need to repair the broken motorcycle
that you build. Then the hat is so that you can access those restricted
locations. Anyways, start the level and fix the two motorcycles then continue
on with the level. You will come up to three guard posts before you come to
a bridge that needs raised (next to a windmill). Restart this till you get the
Achievement. Even with 0 accesses, you only have to repeat about 16 times.
NOTE:
After spending about 2 hours doing this, I found that I still hadn't gotten
the Achievement. I don't know what happened but I finally got it. Just be VERY
patient and you'll eventually get the Achievement.

13. I hate these guys. (20 Points)
Destroy 200 bad guys.
You should definitely get this Achievement in your first playthrough. If you
don't, play another level and kill EVERY single enemy that you see.

14. It's not the years honey... (40 Points)
Complete any level without dying, without invincibility.
Now first you have to make sure that the Invinvicibility Extra is turned OFF
and that the Regenerating Hearts Extra is turned ON.
Now start up any level you want (that you think is very easy) and play it
without dying. In case you are not sure what dying is, it is when you fall off
a cliff or your person blows up into LEGO pieces.
NOTE:
I have found a small trick for when you are fighting. If your person runs down
to 1 or 2 hearts, quickly switch to the other person (previously controlled by
a computer) and use him. Wait a couple seconds and switch back to the other
dude. Do this also if your person falls off a cliff. Before you actually die,
switch to the other person so that the computer falls and dies and you're
still alive. If you do happen to die, Save and Quit and try the ENTIRE level
again.

15. How dare you kiss me! (15 Points)
Use your whip to kiss Marion, Willie, and Elsa.
Marion is in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Willie is in The Temple of Doom.
Elsa is in The Last Crusade.
To kiss each one play as Indiana Jones and get a couple feet from the girl and
face her. Press the whip button and you should kiss her. Repeat this 3 times
with a different girl each time.

16. Oh it breaks the heart. (15 Points)
Oh it breaks the heart.
This Achievement is unlocked by hitting 15 enemies with glass bottles. To get
this one REALLY easily, start up the "Trouble in the Sky" level in The Last
Crusade and run to the tables to the left. Pick up and bottle and hit an enemy
with it then get another one, and another, and another. Do this until you get
the Achievement. There are two things to note:
- The bottles will respawn infinitely.
- Do not harm the boss guy until you get the Achievement. That will void the
infinite spawn of enemies.

Complete the "Young Indy" level in Story Mode.
The Young Indy level can be accessed in the museum in the College and can be
played like any other level.
To unlock the Young Indy level you must collect all the artifacts in Raiders
of the Lost Ark.

Destroy Lao Che with Indy.
Start up a level with Lao Che as your character. When the level starts, have
Lao Che and Indiana Jones as the two characters. Play as Indy and kill your
fellow computer (who is Lao Che).
Now switch to Lao Che and kill Indy to get another Achievement.
NOTE:
Lao Che can be available for purchase after completing "Shanghai Showdown" in
Temple of Doom.

Achievement.

Smash 250 LEGO objects.
If you enjoy hitting stuff and destroying it for coins then you should get
this without really trying. I got this about mid-way through "City of Danger"
in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Create and name a custom build character.
Go to the museum and walk foward. (towards the chair that you're sitting in)
Jump off into the black space you see. You will fall into a garden type area.
Walk down the garden and into a room. Make a custom character, name it, and
BLEEP-BLOOP.

Destroy Indy with Jones Snr.
You can actually get this one in Castle Rescue on your first playthrough. If
I'm correct, Castle Rescue starts off where you are in a room that is in
flames. Switch to Senior Jones (the guy with the blue thing in his hand) and
kill Indiana Jones (your computer friend). There ya go.

Destroy 100 snakes.
Snakes are obviously animals that look like a really big rope with a head.
Kill 100 of them (any way you want) and you will get the Achievement.

43. Blow it up! (40 Points)
Blow up 5 enemies with 1 explosion.
In the level "Pankot Secrets" in Temple of Doom you will (should) come up to
a point where about 10 creepy-crawlies will charge at you. Make sure you have
a rocket launcher (you have to play in Free Play) and shoot them. You should
actually kill about 8 of the creepy-crawlies, resulting in a Killtastrophe!

44. I can't believe what you did! (20 Points)
Disarm 100 enemies with the whip.
Disarming an enemy means you hit them with the whip and take their weapon
from them. To get this quick, play "Motorcycle Escape" and get to the second
guard gate. DO NOT OPEN IT!! Instead turn on a second controller and play as
the second person. Now take him towards the cliff and switch to the first guy.
Now using your whip, disarm the three enemies on motorcycles and wait for
another three to spawn. Disarm the enemies until you get the Achievement.

45. Throw me the idol. (20 Points)
Perform 150 whip grabs in the game.
A whip grab is where you use your whip to grab an object from a distance. Just
whip grab objects instead of picking them up. Or play "Into the Mountains" in
Raiders of the Lost Ark and pick up the bottles with whip grab.

Perform 250 whip swings in the game.
This is very easy. You will not get this in your first playthrough. So get to
a part in a level where there are two whip platforms and just swing back-and-
forth, to-and-frough. You'll get it anywhere from 15-20 minutes; be patient.

key. Go to the museum with this key and put it in the middle podeum or
whatever.

What are the effects of Cheat Codes/Extras?
Artifact Detector-------- An arrow will be displayed on the screen indicating
the location of an artifact.
Deep Beep---------------- While in a vehicle, you can press B to honk a horn.
Character Treasure------- Killing a person will result in the drop of studs.
Disarm Enemies----------- Enemies will no longer shoot at you.
Disguises---------------- You have fake glasses and a nose on your character.
Fast Build--------------- Building objects is much faster.
Fast Dig----------------- Digging objects is much faster.
Fast Fix----------------- Fixxing objects is much faster.
Fertilizer--------------- Pressing B while on an animal will make it crap.
Ice Rink----------------- You will be sliding around, making moving harder.
Invincibility------------ You can't die (unless falling off cliffs)
Parcel Detector---------- An arrow will be displayed on the screen indicating
the location of a parcel.
Poo Treasure------------- Animals will crap coins. Yay!
Regenerate Hearts-------- Your hearts will be automatically healed.
Secret Characters-------- Secret characters in levels will be playable.
Silhouettes-------------- Players are replaced with a non-texture black color.
Super Scream------------- Willie's scream will hurt characters.
Super Slap--------------- Melee attacks are much stronger.
Treasure Magnet---------- Studs will be picked up from a longer distance.
Treasure x10------------- All studs picked up will be worth 10 times more.
Treasure x2-------------- All studs picked up will be worth 2 times more.
Treasure x4-------------- All studs picked up will be worth 4 times more.
Treasure x6-------------- All studs picked up will be worth 6 times more.

NOTES:
- "Fertilizer" and "Poo Treasure" go together. Turn them both ON.
- Turning on Treasure x10,x2,x4,x6, and x8 will make each stud picked up worth
3840 its normal value!

Now I honestly have to say that getting 1,000 Gamerscore in this game was not
very fun. The first 250 was fun but after that just got pretty annoying. But
what kept me going was determination. It also fueled me to write this
