The Achievements ------------------- Guitar Hero Smash Hits currently has 50 Achievements worth a total of 1000 Gamerscore points. Most of the achievements are pretty simple but a few are really only obtainable by guitar hero legends. A. The Greatest Journey In History - Complete a song in every venue. 10G - You will unlock this as soon as you complete career or unlock all tiers of songs and then play Quebec on a already completed song. B. You Cannot Beat Me - Win an online Pro Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more. 20G - Must play a Pro Face off and win by at least that many points. Can be private, player, ranked and doesn't matter the difficulty. C. Jaw Dropper - Win an online Face-Off match by 25,000 points or more. 20G - Must play a Face off and win by at least that many points. Can be private, player, ranked and doesn't matter the difficulty. D. You Should Be Afraid - Win an online Face-Off match. 10G - Just win a Face-off against another player. Can be private, player or ranked. Doesn't matter what difficulty. E. One For All - Complete a song in a Band (4 players). 20G - This can be done locally or online in Band quickplay. Must have all 4 members. Guitar, Bass, Vocals and Drums. Doesn't matter what difficulty. F. Rocker's Guide To Godhood - Complete the Career Tutorial. 5G - You must complete all tutorials. The guitar, bass, vocals and drums tutorials. Must have Official Guitar Hero drums for drum tutorials. G. The Greatest Crew - Complete a song with all Band members on Expert (4 player Band). 20G - All 4 members must be on expert. Can be locally or in band quickplay online. Easiest song is gotta be either Hit Me With Your Best Shot or I Love Rock N Roll. H. Golden Fingers - Perform as the Guitarist. 5G - Any song will do just complete one as guitarist. I. Play With Me - Play 20 online matches. 20G - Doesn't matter the match type. Just play online for 20 songs and this is yours. J. Low-Pitched King - Complete the Career as the Bassist. 30G - Must complete all tiers of songs to unlock this. Through The Fire and Flames is the last song in the career. Doesn't matter what difficulty. There are a total of 48 songs in the career. K. Thunder Kissing - Trigger Star Power simultaneously (4 player Band). 10G - All 4 members of the band must trigger star power at the same time. Can be done locally or online. L. Craving For More - Download a song from GHTunes(SM). 5G - This is under the Music Studio. Just download any song off the list. M. I Wanna Rock - Complete a song with any instrument on any difficulty in local Quickplay or Career. 5G - This is a given. Just complete your first song and it is yours. N. Rock Legends - Complete the Career in a Band (2-4 players). 30G - Can only be done locally. Must have at least 2 member. Doesn't matter the combination. Just complete all tiers of songs on any difficulty. O. Promising Diva - Perform as the Vocalist. 5G - Complete one song as a vocalist. Doesn't matter what difficulty. P. Cowboys From Hell - Get 100% on a song as a Band (4 players). 25G - This can be done locally or online in Band Quickplay. It doesn't matter what difficulty but I would recommend either Beginner or Easy. I Love Rock And Roll is really short and easy. Q. Band Leader - Score the highest individual score in a 4 player Band. 10G - This can be done locally or online in Band quickplay. Easiest way to do it is to hook up all the instruments to your xbox and put them all on beginner but what you are playing and then just hit all notes on your instrument. R. Unyielding - Complete the Career as the Drummer. 30G - There are a total of 48 songs. Must complete all to finish the career. Through The Fire and Flames is the last song. Doesn't matter what difficulty you complete the career on. S. Wondrous Strummer - Complete the Career as the Guitarist. 30G - There are a total of 48 songs. Must complete all to finish the career. Through The Fire and Flames is the last song. Doesn't matter what difficulty you complete the career on. T. Bark At The Moon - Complete the Career as the Vocalist. 30G - There are a total of 48 songs. Must complete all to finish the career. Through The Fire and Flames is the last song. Doesn't matter what difficulty you complete the career on. U. Unnoticed Presence - Perform as the Bassist. 5G - Just complete any song as the bassist. V. The One Man Band - Complete all four instrument Careers on any difficulty. 35G - There are a total of 48 songs per career. So that is a total of 192 songs if you play them all just once. Must be done on the same save file or the achievement will not unlock. W. War Apparatus - Complete a song on Expert + (Drums only). 25G - Songs with a skull and crossbones symbol next to them are Expert + songs. Probably the easiest song is Shout At The Devil. X. Master Craftsman - Create a new custom instrument. 5G - You do this under the create a character menu. You can mess with all the creation tools. Just save the instrument after your done for this. Y. Artist On The Rise - Create a new custom Band logo. 10G - You can create a logo on the options menu. Save for the achievement. Z. Masterpiece - Create a new custom rocker. 5G - YOu can create your rocker however you want, just save to get the achievement. This is accessed on the character select screen. Choose the question mark box to create them. AA.Mooned - Perform as the Drummer. 5G - Just play any song as the drummer. AB.There's Hope! - Recover from a poor performance. 10G - You must go into red on the rock meter and then come out of it and finish the song. AC.Clash Of The Titans - Win a Band vs. Band match (8 players). 15G - This is online only. Doesn't matter what difficulty. JUst click Band V Band and win the match against another band for the achievement. A cheap tactic is, most players play on expert and are usually pretty good. Put your difficulty down to something you know you can 100 percent and your points will be higher than theirs. The point system is supposed to be balanced but is not. AD.Ink And Blood - Create a custom tattoo. 5G - This is done while creating a character. The achievement unlocks after you save the design. AE.Glory to the Daring - Play a song in the Atlantis venue. 10G - This is the second to the last venue in career. You can get it that way or play with someone online with it unlocked. AF.Face To Face - Win an online Pro Face-Off match. 10G - Just win a Pro Face-off against another player. Can be private, player or ranked. Doesn't matter what difficulty. AG.Killing In The Name - Win 50 online matches. 45G - This can be done in Pro Face-off, Face-off, Battle or Band V Band. Fastest way to do it is to go into battle and trade off wins with a friend in battle mode. AH.Rock Veteran - Play 150 songs throughout your entire Career. 20G - You will get this while completing all careers or you can just keep playing songs over and over. Your choice really. AI.Amazing Rockstar - Complete single player Expert Career on all instruments. 100G - This is going to be pretty tough since you must complete all songs to complete a career. There are a total of 50 songs per career and they are balanced where the hardest songs for the instrument are in the last tier. Through The Fire and Flames is always last though. All I can say is good luck and a lot of practice. For people that play guitar, get good at hammer ons and pull offs. That way you can pass the killer shreds. Bass players, you might want to get the wierd patterns of open notes with button notes inbetween down. Maybe a little bit on Hammer-ons and pull offs. Up-Down strumming is a must for both guitar and bass. Vocals, get good at your pitches. Drums, nothing I can say for drums but learn rhythm if you don't already have it. Get ready for some crazy patterns and just be glad it isn't demanding you to do Expert+. - It has been confirmed that you can get this by just beating the last song in each career on expert. You can beat all other songs on any difficulty but Through The Fire and Flames must be beaten on expert. AJ.Smoking!!! - Complete the song Smoke On The Water as the Vocalist. 10G - This can be done on any difficulty. If you want to get it easy, just put the difficulty on beginner and put the mic up to something with constand noise like a fan or a speaker. AK.Deadzone - Fail a song with available Star Power in single player. 10G - Easiest way to get this is just to obtain star power and then up-down strum yourself to death until you lose. Secret Achievements ------------------- AL.Cyborg - You got a 100 note streak in the song Through The Fire And Flames on Hard or higher as the Drummer. 45G - This I would recommend on hard. You are going to need to get your drums rolls down. That is a must for this song. You can also get this in Pro Face off online or offline. AM.Inhuman - You scored 5 stars in a song on Expert with Lars Umlaut in single player. 10G - This can be done on any song on any difficulty. Pick Lars, the gnome looking guy with white and black make-up on. Then just 5 star any song. AN.Golden Voice - You scored 95% or more on the song Killer Queen as the Vocalist (Expert). 35G - This song has a really weird vocal pattern. A lot of Low and and high pitches involved. Going to take a bit of practice to to get it down. AO.Lightning Speed! - You completed the song YYZ with 5 stars on Expert Bass. 25G - This is one of the hardest songs on Bass. It is almost like playing guitar because the whole song is made up of hammer-ons and pull-offs. It is called lightning speed because you do have to be really fast to hit all the notes to get a high enough score for 5 stars. Your goal is 170,000 points. AP.That was Close! - You won a song with the rock meter in red. 10G - You can do this on any song, just get to the end of a song and strum Up-Down really fast to put yourself in red and then let the song end. AQ.8th Wonder - You completed the song Through The Fire And Flames with 4 stars or more as the Guitarist on Expert. 35G - If you are a veteran at Guitar Hero 3 this may be a breeze for you because the song has been actually made easier. Replacing the hard hammer-on/pull-off section with finger tap notes, no strum necessary. This must be done on expert as just Guitar playing. Your goal score is 402,000 for 4 stars. 562,000 for 5 stars. AR.Bloody Feet - You completed the song Raining Blood with 5 stars as the Drummer on Expert+. 35G - This song is completely insane on Expert+ drums. I hope you have the double bass pedal and are really good with it. Your goal for 5 stars is 345,000 points. AS.Open Minded Strummer - You hit all Open Strum notes in the song Laid To Rest as the Bassist. 10G - This can only be done on expert. The song has a lot of open strum notes in it. Might have to practice the song a few times before attempting it. AT.Rising Star - You completed 100% on any song on Expert in single player. 20G - This can be done on any instrument. Easiest way to get this is to grab a mic, put it in front of a fan so there is constant noise running through it and then pick Laid To Rest or Raining Blood on expert. The songs are all talky type songs so it makes this a breeze to get. AU.You Play It Well - You perfectly played the Let's Play! section in the song Play With Me as a lead Guitarist on Expert. 35G - You can find this part of the song by playing in practice mode. For me to explain where it is at, it is near the middle of the song. The part starts with a finger tap shred back and forth. AV.Raining Notes - You perfectly played the First Blood section of the song Raining Blood as the Guitarist on Expert. 35G - This was originally the Mosh in Guitar Hero 3. Guess they decided to change the name since the notes have been changed. This part come up right after the galloping green notes. It is a long shred of Orange to green with random green notes threw here and there. Will take a lot of practice to get down. AW.Hail The Reverend - Get 5 stars on the song Beast And The Harlot as the Drummer on Expert without using Star Power. 10G - This can be done on both Expert and Expert+. You can't use star power either way though. The song is really hard on drums. Your goal for Expert is N/A - I'll add as soon as I find out. Your goal for Expert+ is 583,000. - If you are using the Rock Band Drums, do not hit the last note of the song. It will trigger star power and keep you from getting the achievement. AX.Free As A Band - You scored 2,000,000 points on Free Bird as a Band. 35G - It is possible to get over 3,000,000 points on this song if everyone is on expert and playing really well. I did it earlier with guitar, bass and vocals on expert and drums on hard. I guess if you can do the song really well and use star power at the right times. You can maybe even score 2 million on lower difficulties. II.
